Itinerary

Day 1

Ho Chi Minh City - Arrival (D)
Upon arrival to Tan Son Nhat Airport you will be met and transferred to our hotel. Check in and leisure time for relaxing. Enjoin a welcome dinner and over night in Ho Chi Minh city.

Day 2

Cookery Centre - City (B/L/D)
Today, you have a chance to learn Vietnamese food with the South taste. You will have a cooking lesson at Cookery Centre Class with daily menu. Afternoon, cyclo around to discover the daily life of Sai Gon people then visit Reunification, War Museum, Notre Dame Cathedral & Ben Thanh Market. Dinner and enjoy the traditional music show. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.

Day 3

Mekong Delta - Homestay (B/L/D)
In the morning, we will go to Hoc Mon district to visit Cu Chi tunnel then continue driving along to Mekong Delta. Upon on arrival in My Tho, we embark on a boat navigating around the small canals in the delta region, which passing My Tho fruit market. Joining in with daily activities of local people and enjoy the atmosphere of water world along the canal and along the Tien river. The exciting cruise continue to Unicorn island, here you can taste many seasonal fruits and enjoy the local traditional music, performed by the islanders. Next stops are the coconut candy “mill” and some other local industries in Ben Tre province. After lunch, you will take a boat back to My Tho harbor then continue driving along Can Tho. Take a rest before enjoying the famer actitives like: drop a net and prepare dinner with the local people family. Dinner with fresh meals such as: Banh Xeo, spring roll… Listen to the local traditional music and Homestay.

Day 4

Can Tho - Ho Chi Minh (B/L)
Wake up early in the morning to enjoin preparing the breakfast before taking a boat trip to visit Cai Rang floating market. (the nicest one with heaps of rowing boats). Take in the beautiful scenery and the daily activities of the locals who lives along the Mekong canals and you will roam through the village to visit a rice husking mill and a rice noodles making shop. Drive back to Ho Chi Minh City and overnight at your hotel.

Day 5

Ho Chi Minh City – Da Nang - Hoi An (B)
You will take a morning flight to Da Nang Airport, then transfer to Hoi an about 35km away. Afternoon, walking visit Hoi An ancient town, the town with mixed the culture of Vietnam, Chinese, Japanese with Chinese tiled houses, Chinese temples, Japanese covered bridge. Over night in Hoi an.

Day 6

Hoi An (B/L)
Depart at your hotel at 8:00 Am, you will ride by bicycle to the home of a farmer at Tra Que Vegetable Village, experience a day of living and working with the local farmers in this village. You will take a trip around the vegetable garden and join the farmers in preparing the land and fertilizing it with seaweed from the local lake. Continue doing activities such as: raking, sowing, watering greens, picking greens and many more gardening activities. Preparing lunch with the local people family, lunch with fresh meals such as: Tam Huu Spring Roll, Banh Xeo or the local pancake of the people from the middle region. Afternoon, cycling tour along the backroads amongst the rice paddy fields. You have the option to try your hands at the ancient art of lantern making or visit a small traditional fishing village. Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 7

Hoi An - Da Nang - Ha Noi (B)
Leisure your time for relaxing or shopping before transferring to Da Nang Airport to take a short flight to Ha Noi. Stop over at Cham Museum in Da Nang to learn more about Cham Culture and Traditions. Overnight in Ha Noi

Day 8

Ha Noi (B/L/D)
Depart from your hotel at 8:00 Am, you will have a chance today to discover our thousand years Capital. We will visit Ethnology Museum, Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum, His House on Stilt, Ho chi minh's Museum, One Pillar Pagoda, Tran Quoc pagoda. After lunch, continue visiting Van Mieu (our first national university), Ngoc Son Temple then take one hour cyclo ride around the old quarter streets including: Hang Giay - Hang Be, Hang Mam – Hang Bac – Ma May - Dao Duy Tu- Hang Chieu – Hang Ma – Hang Ca- Cha Ca- Lan Ong – Thuoc Bac – Lo Ren – Hang Dong – Bat Su – Hang Bo – Luong Van Can – Hang Gai – Cau Do, then stop at Thang Long theatre for enjoying the Water puppet show. Dinner at Cha Ca La Vong Restaurant and overnight in Ha Noi.

Day 9

Viet Ancient Village - Thay & Tay Phuong Pagoda (B/L/D)
Leave your hotel in Hanoi about at 08.00am and travel west of Hanoi to Duong Lam village, a purely agricultural village of the Northern Red River delta where still preserve many hundred-year-old houses. Upon arrival, bike along tiny ancient alleys to visit Mong Phu temple in Mong Phu hamlet - the only hamlet whose original village entrance gate remains intact, dedicated to national heroes. Continue riding around the village to discover the daily life and farming working of Vietnamese peasants along the terrace with a stop in two ancient houses: the biggest ancient house was build 200 years ago and the most ancient house back to 400 years ago. Again biking to visit Mia Pagoda (other hamlet in Duong Lam village), is built in 15 th century and admire 287 statues of all sizes, among with are famous sculpture such as the statue of Buddha in the Himalayas and the statues of the Eight Vajra Deities. You will visit Ngo Quyen temple and Phung Hung temple, places dedicated to two national heroes Ngo Quyen and Phung Hung. After lunch, drive to visit to Thay & Tay Phuong Pagodas in Ha Tay province. Dinner at local restaurant then then take a night train to Lao Cai. Overnight on train.

Day 10

Lao Cai - Sa Pa (B/L)
Upon arrival to Lao Cai train station, our drive to visit one of the colorful tribal market near Sapa (incase no Market available at your date, you will visit Cat Cat Village, the home of H'Mong minority. Learn more about the culture and daily life of Black H'Mong People ). The schedule as follow:

Tuesday: Coc Ly Market
Thusday: Muong Khuong Market
Saturday: Can Cau Market
Sunday: Si Ma Cai or Bac Ha Market

Day 11

Sa Pa - Ha Noi (B/L/D)
After breakfast, take a drive to visit Lao Chai village – home of Black H'Mong – here you trek through terraced rice fields to villages, meet and talk with locals to learn more about their daily life and habits. You trek through Ta Van village – home of Dzay hill tribe and get on car back to hotel in the town. In the afternoon visit Ta Fin village with Tafin handicraft shops and explore the daily life of Red Dzao and continue the drive to transfer to Lao Cai station, have dinner at local restaurant before getting on night train back to Hanoi.

Day 12

Ha Noi - Ha Long (B/L/D)
This day, you will visit Halong, a World Heritage Area of outstanding natural beauty on the Ocean. Upon arrival at Halong city, you will embark in the sailing boat cruising round the around islets, caves and grottos on Halong bay. While cruising, enjoy your lunch on board. In the afternoon, take a short excursion visit Sung Sot (The Cave of Surprise) grotto and short swim (if weather permitted). Overnight on board.

Day 13

Ha Long - Ha Noi (B/L)
In the morning, cruising more in the Halong Bay before return to the Halong pier. Having lunch in Halong before return back Hanoi. Drive back to Ha Noi and overnight at your hotel.

Day 14

Ha Noi - Departure (B)
Free time for shopping or optional visit before transfer to Noi Bai Airport for departure. Trip ends!
