Day 1

Being situated in the Tonkin Golf, Halong bay is one of the world's natural wonders - a bay with more than 3,000 islands, which time, wind and waves have sculpted into fantastic shapes. The best way to appreciate this magical scene is from a boat, cruising among these karts cliffs, which loom like fairy-tale castles, complete with rocky spires and hidden caves. The bay is dotted with tiny islands, pristine sandbanks on the turquoise water providing an excellent backdrop for swimming or just lazing on the sun deck.

At 8:00AM. Car pick up and transfer to Halong City, drive through the plain of the Red River delta to Ha Long in Quang Ninh province – One of the great wonders. Check-in board procedure. Boat cruise to visit the bay's more than 3000 rocks and islands, splendid landscape and well-known grottoes of Dau Go of the wooden stakes where in 1288 one of Vietnam's most famous Generals, Tran Hung Dao amassed hundreds of stakes deep inside the cave prior to a battle with an invading Mongolian army.

A short walk away visit the newly discovered Thien Cung Cave (Grotto of the heavenly palace ), famous for its stalagmites and stalactites the cave has only been opened to the public since 1998.

Enjoy seafood lunch on board. More cruise on the bay sightseeing Dinh Huong islet, Ga Choi, Dog and Sail islet before taking a boat cruise back to Halong Tourist Wharf where your car is waiting for you and brings you back to Hanoi.
19:30 arrival in Hanoi. End of service at your hotel
