Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival in Tashkent : city which can surprise you from the first minutes with completely not winter weather. Meeting at the airport, transfer to Western part of Tien-Shan mountains (90 km, ~2 hours) - tremendous landscapes and magnificent kinds will not leave indifferent anybody from those who will have the luck to visit these places. Accommodation in the hotels of resort complexes of Beldersay or Chimgan (on a choice).

Day 2

Mountain skiing program. Skiing on the routes of Chimgan mountain ski resort. You have at your disposal several easy routes which are equipped with the rope-tows and the main route along which the chair-lift functions. There are variants of interesting free-ride descents on the right and on the left from the lift with the falls to the ravines and egresses to the landing station. If you have a wish to change the vehicle, you can take the snowmobile or ride the horses. To diversify your rest in the evening, there are various 'apr-ski' entertainments, cafe, bars, saunas, billiards, a disco and a cozy atmosphere of a high-mountainous resort complex at your service.

Day 3

Skiing on the slopes of North-West ridge of Chimgan. Not hard back-country program and virgin snow is at your service.

Day 4

(Satturday). Trip : excursion to Samarkand. Transfer to Samarkand (300 km, ~5 hours). Accommodation at the hotel. You will have an opportunity to feast your eyes upon the evening lights of some architectural monuments of the city and saw the colorful adapted performance of folklore.

Day 5

(Sunday). During the excursion you visit the “heart” of Samarkand : Registan square (XIV-XVI) with three famous madrasahs: Sherdor, Ulugbek and Tillya-Kori, see the grandiose Bibi-Khanum mosque (XV), wooonderful Gur-Emir mausoleum (XV) where Tamerlan, his sons and his grandson Ulugbek are buried, the observatory of Ulugbek (1420) : famous ruler and scientist-astronomer, Shakhi-Zinda (XI-XVIII â.) : necropolis of rulers and nobility of Samarkand which consists of several wonderfully decorated mausoleums, the exotic Siab market.
Transfer back to Tashkent.

Day 6

Transfer to Beldersay gorge. Skiing on the routes of Beldersay mountain ski resort. Beldersay route is officially registered in FIS (International Federation of Skiing). The route is equipped with the chair-lift and rope-tow and embraces the wide areas for skiing. It is possible to mark out 3 areas of skiing of various level of complexity conditionally so everybody can find something to his liking.

Day 7

Back-country programs along the Beldersay gorge with the skilled guide.

Day 8

Transfer to Tashkent (90 km, ~ 2 h). The sightseeing tour about Tashkent: old city, Barrack-khan madrassah (XVI), Kafal-Shashi mausoleum (XVI), Kukeldash madrassah (XVI), the Square of Independence, the Square of Friendship of People, Tashkent underground, the Theatrical Square. Shopping, east market, purchasing of souvenirs for relatives and friends.
Transfer to the airport. Departure.
