Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival to Tashkent. Half day of CSS tour of Old part: visit, short excursion on metro, Amur Timur Central Square, Broadway + fountains, Earthquake monument, Kafal Shahi Mausoleum, Abdul Kassim Madrassah, Museum of Temurid's, Fin arts museum. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2

Morning flight to Bukhara according to timetable, meet on arrival at the airport, settlement at the Hotel. In the afternoon city tour: visit Kalyan minaret and Poi Kalyan Mosque, Miri Arab madrassah, Ulugbek and Abdullazizkhan madrassah, visit Trade Domes (Toki Zargaron, Toki Telpak Furushon, Toki Sarafon), Magoki Attory mosque, Lyabi House complex, Ark fortress, Bolo House mosque, Ismail Samoniy mausoleum, Chashmai Ayub and bazaar. Overnight.

Day 3

Drive to Samarkand via Shakhrisabz (320 km, 4hrs). Tour of Shakhrisabz: Visit Ak Saray Palace, Kuk Gumbaz, Gumbazi Saidon, Khazrati Imam Mosque, Mausoleum of Jakhangir (Temurlan's son). Continue drive to Samarkand. Panoramic view from bus. Overnight.

Day 4

Full day CSS in Samarkand: visit Registan square with three madrassahs, Bibi Khanum Mosque and bazaar, Gur Emir Mausoleum, Shakhi Zinda necropolis Of Temurids, Ulugbek Observatory, ruins of Afrosiyab town

Day 5

Morning drive to Tashkent ( 350 km, 4 hrs). Continuation of CSS tour: Hasti Imam complex including Barakhan Madrassah visit Chorsu bazaar and Kukeldash Madrassah. Transfer to airport and departure to next destination.

Important Notice : Avoiding Fraud

It's rare, but some helpful hints to watch out for with regards to fraud:

  • It is important to NEVER wire funds or use/employ other fund transfer mechanisms such as western union: Always use a credit card to protect yourself against fraud. If owners pressure you into providing a deposit or refuse to accept credit cards, there is a high probability that this is a scam.
  • If at all suspicious of fraud, ask to see their website, or any other literature they can provide or send to you. Ask them for contact details for guests who have previously stayed on their property insisting on telephone numbers. Be suspicious of emails that originate from free email services (yahoo, hotmail, gmail, etc)
  • Research the property thoroughly on the internet to see if there is any history or mention of scams associated with the property.
