Petchaburi is a small seaboard city in the central region of Thailand, only few hours from a capital, Bangkok. The coastal line of the city is amazing and offers a great route that worth for a biking
Itinerary
Day 1
08:00 pick up from the hotel or the meeting point and head to Petchaburi province.
A trial will start at Bangtaboon, a small district that local people still keep working on salt fields. The route offers a scenic view of endless salt-pond fields along the way. Then we will head to the heart of the city which is different as it is a greenery way, only small villages nestled aside and surrounded by glassy fields and rice paddy fields.
The city of Petchaburi is bustling but finally you would find its coziness and charm of this small city. The city has many temples which were old temples since the former capital, Ayutthaya. Altogether, Phranakornkiri, a beautiful hilltop palace is as well in sight of view from afar and you will have a chance to visit Phra Ram Ratchaniwet Palace which is another beautiful palace in town. (Have lunch at local restaurant in the city)
Then, we will head down to the coastal route where both sides of the roads are again lively grass filed and rice field. Before reaching to the beach, we will first visit a richly mangrove forests, small wooden pathway will lead to the sea and offers a great scene among lush mangrove forests.
Finally, we will take a short ride to the beachfront hotel at Chao Samran beach where we will stay overnight for relaxation and re-charging your battery. At dinner, you will experience Thai cuisines at local restaurant.
Overnight at Fisherman's Village Resort
Day 2
Have breakfast in the morning at the resort, then we will get on coach to visit Marukhataiyawan Palace (Ma-Ruk-Ha-Tai-Ya-Wan). This palace is one of three palaces in Petchaburi that was built by kings in Chakri dynasty. The buildings were golden teak wood located on the beach of Cha Am. Then, we will take you to restaurant for lunch and head back to Bangkok in the afternoon.

Important Notice : Avoiding Fraud
It's rare, but some helpful hints to watch out for with regards to fraud:
- It is important to NEVER wire funds or use/employ other fund transfer mechanisms such as western union: Always use a credit card to protect yourself against fraud. If owners pressure you into providing a deposit or refuse to accept credit cards, there is a high probability that this is a scam.
- If at all suspicious of fraud, ask to see their website, or any other literature they can provide or send to you. Ask them for contact details for guests who have previously stayed on their property insisting on telephone numbers. Be suspicious of emails that originate from free email services (yahoo, hotmail, gmail, etc)
- Research the property thoroughly on the internet to see if there is any history or mention of scams associated with the property.
