Itinerary

Day 1

Transfer to your accommodations- either an Executive Bungalow with separate bedroom, A/C, sat. TV, microwave and minifridge or Deluxe hotel room. A chance to unpack, and shower and then a luncheon where you can ask any questions that you may have, you will be presented with a complimentary city map, and also a list of common Thai phrases. After the luncheon a trip to the largest mall to pick up anything you may require, to convert money to Thai baht, and to check out some of the bargains. Then a on to a sports complex where you can take a refreshing swim, watch snooker, use the weight room or have a massage. Dinner will be served on a terrace overlooking the pool. Then on to an evening city tour with great photo opportunities and a stopover at an Entertainment complex where you can relax, enjoy a chilled refreshment amd play some 8 ball, have a few drinks, and meet some Thai's and foreigners.

Day 2

A day tour of the city will include 2 Buddhist temples. We will then proceed to an All you Can Eat Buffet luncheon which has a beautiful setting by the river, a wide array of delicous foods and deserts. You will be treated to a complimentary 1 1 /2 hr. Thai massage at the Night Bazaar area and this will be your opportunity to do some shopping where bargains are to be had. Bring a photo and have it put on canvas by the professional painters. Return home with a painting that you will treasure. Thousands of items for sale at the Night Bazaar so take your time and get a great deal on something you need and want. Drop in to several of the local pubs and take in the nightlife in this end of town. This is definately the most popular tourist area in town in the evenings.

Day 3

The most popular tourist attraction in all of Chiang Mai is next. A visit Doi Suthep mountain and Wat Phrathat temple. One of the most revered Buddhist temples in all of Thailand. Bring your camera as this will be a once in a lifetime photo opportunity. From here we visit the man made lake to enjoy a freshly made meal by the lake and to have some cool refreshments. Return to your place of residence to freshen up and then we will visit a Thai restaurant/pub where you can enjoy a tasty meal and take in a performance by a live musical group. A stopover for refreshments at local pub and restaurant to cool off and relax before heading back.

Day 4

To-day you will visit the Hill Tribe people, do some rafting and enjoy an elephant ride. When you return to your residence you will want to relax and freshen up.When you are ready your time is your own. You can go where you want for dinner and do what you want after that. One of two evenings where your time is your own.

Day 5

Breakfast followed by a trip to the World Famous Gem Gallery - "the World's Largest Jewelry Store". Then on to the the Hot Springs. Lunch will be served at the Hot Springs. Boiling eggs in the hot springs is a tradition and is followed up by a picnic lunch.On to several Moo Bahns to see housing developments for the middle class.
Return to place of accommodations to relax and change. This is another evening where you can do what you want. Re-visit Night Bazaar for more shopping bargains. Re-visit a pub. Do what you what you most enjoy.

Day 6

Breakfast and then either to the driving range followed by snooker or 8 ball at a local pub or attend a Thai cooking school where you will eat what you have cooked, receive a free 60 page color cookbook and have an opportunity to return home and impress your friends with your new recipes.
After a return to your accommodations you will be taken to one of our favourite evening Restaurants. A setting by the river, and fantastic food and refreshments will give one and all an opportunity for group photo shots or the romantics in the tour a chance to take a stroll by the river. The entertainment will be top notch for young and old. On the way back to our residence we will drop in to a favourite pub to get a final taste of Chiang Mai's exciting nightlife.

Day 7

Breakfast and transfer to airport/train station. For those individuals departing in the evening we will leave it up to them where they want to go and what they want to do.
