Itinerary

Day 1

Arrive Bangkok (D)
On arrival in Bangkok our guides will meet you and take you to your hotel in a limousine. You will have some time to relax and enjoy your beautiful hotel including its spa. You have a wide choice of hotels in Bangkok, however for our perfect honeymoon we have chosen the Peninsula Hotel (Grand deluxe room) due to its riverside location, stylish décor and romantic views.In the evening we will have arranged for a romantic diner for two on board The Manohra, a magnificent ricebarge that has been converted into one of Bangkok's finest dining venues. Enjoy a sumptuous five-course dinner while cruising along the Chap Phraya river.The cruise ends back at your hotel.

Day 2

Bangkok (B,L)
Our guide will meet you in the lobby (not too early) to take you on a private longtail boat ride through the Bangkok klongs. The tour ends at the charming Supathra restaurant overlooking the river where you will be served lunch. In the afternoon you will visit The Royal Grand Palace, home of the Royal family as well as the mysterious Emerald Buddha, the most revered Buddha image in Thailand. Take a short stroll or drive to visit Wat Po, Bangkok's oldest temple and the first school of Thai massage. The evening is free for you to explore the city.

Day 3

Koh Lanta (B)
A limousine will take you to the airport for your flight to the beautiful southern Thai island of Koh Lanta. It is just over an hour to Krabi airport, where our guide and car will be waiting to meet you and transfer you a little further south by car and speedboat to Pimalai Resort & Spa on Lanta Island. We have chosen Pimalai as the island retreat for our perfect Thai honeymoon as it has everything a newlywed couple could want. Peace, tranquility, sunshine, a flawless white sand beach far enough away from the rest of the island's hotels to make it blissfully peaceful. The resort covers 100 acres of lush tropical gardens and you can choose between contemporary Thai-style rooms and new pool villas. The hotel is really well managed, has excellent facilities and a truly delightful spa is designed to blend into the jungle.

Day 10

Koh Lanta - Chiang Mai (B)
Leave in the morning to catch the flight to Chiang Mai via Bangkok. On arrival in the northern Thai capital we will meet you at the airport and take you to the The Four Season's Resort Chiang Mai located in the hills a half hour drive north of Chiang Mai. The Four Seasons is the ultimate lover's mountain retreat with spacious Lanna-style pavilions overlooking terraced rice fields. The afternoon is free at leisure to try the Thai cooking school, or the acclaimed spa. Overnight at Four Season's Resort Chiang Mai.

Day 11

Chiang Mai (B,L)
In the morning we will pick you up and take you further into the mountains to visit an elephant camp where you will take an elephant ride through the jungle and take a gentle, atmospheric bamboo raft ride along the Ping River. After lunch at a charming riverside restaurant take a drive further into the mountains into the tribal areas, inhabited by numerous hill tribe people. Visit an Akha village before arriving at a palaung village. Take a short walk through the jungle where you will see Palong women in their colourful dress working the fields. Overnight at Four Season's Resort Chiang Mai.

Day 12

Chiang Mai (B)
In the morning visit Wat Phrathad Doi Suthep, north Thailand's most important temple perched on a mountain side overlooking the city. After the visit drive down into the old city to visit a small and intimate temple where we will have arranged a traditional blessing ceremony to be conducted by the resident Buddhist monks to ensure harmony through your married life. After the ceremony you will make a special donation for the monks (we make all the arrangements for you) and then take lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon decide whether you prefer to visit more temples and learn a little about Buddhism or visit a really worthwhile handicrafts centre where you can find genuine and reproduction antiques. Overnight at Four Season's Resort Chiang Mai.

Day 13

Chiang Mai : Bangkok (B)
Take a morning flight to Bangkok. On arrival we take you to the centrally located Hyatt Erawan Hotel, which is not only one of the city's best hotels but it is also connected to the skytrain and numerous shopping centres by easy-to-navigate walkways.
The afternoon is free for you to enjoy Bangkok or, if you prefer to take one of our interesting half day tours. Overnight at Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok

Day 14

Bangkok - Departure (B)
You will be at leisure until our guide arrives for your limousine transfer to the airport for your return flight including assistance with your check in and baggage handling.
