Our guide will pick you up at your hotel and take you to Wat Pho Temple in time to experience the monks early morning chanting ritual (chanting starts at 9am). As one of the oldest temples in Bangkok, Wat Po is home of the famous 45 metre reclining Buddha as well as being the original school of traditional Thai massage. Continue to The Grand Palace, the most important and impressive royal palace in Thailand. Your guide will show you the palaces used for different occasions - the Funeral Palace, the Reception Palace, the Throne Hall, the Coronation Hall, the Royal Guest House, and of course the mysterious Emerald Buddha, the most revered Buddha image in Thailand. Appropriate dress is required (or can be rented on site).
After lunch, take an exhilarating long tail boat ride, starting in Bangkok, towards the north of the city through the labyrinth of "khlongs" (canals). Experience the sights, sounds and smells of Bangkok river life as you head into Nonthaburi and the cityscape turns into countryside. Stop to walk through a bustling local market place where foreigners rarely venture, also to visit a waterside temple with an impressive reclining Buddha. Continue by boat back into the heart of Bangkok. Overnight at The Oriental Bangkok, Thailand

Important Notice : Avoiding Fraud
It's rare, but some helpful hints to watch out for with regards to fraud:
- It is important to NEVER wire funds or use/employ other fund transfer mechanisms such as western union: Always use a credit card to protect yourself against fraud. If owners pressure you into providing a deposit or refuse to accept credit cards, there is a high probability that this is a scam.
- If at all suspicious of fraud, ask to see their website, or any other literature they can provide or send to you. Ask them for contact details for guests who have previously stayed on their property insisting on telephone numbers. Be suspicious of emails that originate from free email services (yahoo, hotmail, gmail, etc)
- Research the property thoroughly on the internet to see if there is any history or mention of scams associated with the property.
