Day 1

Welcome by a representative of Lion's Paradise Travels and transfer to hotel Hilton. After breakfast commence city tour of Colombo. Evening “BONDS OF LOVE” an exclusive romantic couple massages with Sparkling wine & etc under candle light @ “The Sanctuary Spa”, Colombo the best Spa in Sri Lanka for 2 : 2 1/2hours. Dinner & overnight at Hilton Hotel, Colombo. (5 Star)Colombo : A drive through the city will take you to the Fort and Pettah : the commercial area of the city and tree : lined Colombo-07 Cinnamon Gardens. Colombo 3, 4, 5, 8 are the prime residential area of the city. Visit Gangarama temple, Independence Hall, B.M.I.C.H, see the replica of Avukana Buddha statue and the old Parliament. Shopping in Colombo - Visit the Mlesna exquisite tea boutique, all sorts of ready-made garments at ARENA, ODEL, and visit “BEVERLY STREET” 24 hours shopping arcade (garments only) at Colombo 03.

Day 2

After early breakfast proceed to Dambulla. En-route visit Elephant Orphanage @ Pinnawela and afternoon leisure at the hotel. Dinner & overnight at Kandalama Hotel, Dambulla. (5 Star)Elephant Orphanage - This orphanage was established to feed nurse & house young elephants found abandoned by their mothers. Often the young ones fall into pits and ravines in their request for water during drought period. The morning feeding could be observed at 9.15 a.m. where frolicking young ones are bottle-fed milk. Soon after at 10.00 a.m. 65 : 70 Elephants are taken to a nearby river for their morning bath, which is a popular attraction for visitors.

Day 3

After early breakfast climb Sigiriya Rock Fortress and proceed to Polonnaruwa for sightseeing. Evening experience complimentary Elephant ride @ Habarana through Jungles, footpaths and crossing lakes etc. Dinner & overnight at Kandalama Hotel, Dambulla. (5 Star)Sigiriya - Is home to the “5th century Fortress in the Sky” which is the fantastic single wonder of the Island. t is also known as Lion Rock because of the huge Lion that used to stand at the entrance to the fortress. Within its triple-moated defence the huge rock rises almost to a sheer height of 600ft. On its summit are the foundations of what was once a great and sumptuous palace and gardens complete with swimming pool. On one of the stairways, the only known ancient work of Sinhalese secular painting which has survived in the form of Frescos of life-sized damsels in all the freshness and delicacy of their original colour. Optional Hot Air Balloon Ride Over Sigiriya can be arranged. Polonnaruwa - Is another “World Heritage Site” was the capital of Sri Lanka from 11th : 13th centuries, contains some splendid spectacular statues. Lankatilaka, Tivanka & Thuparamaya are the most beautiful and largest image houses and Tivanka has the best example of frescos of the Polonnaruwa period. Rankoth Vehera and Kirivehera are well-preserved large stupas, and Galviharaya : a rock shrine, has four Buddha statues, two seated, one standing and one reclining and Parakrama Bahu statue are examples of Sinhalese stone carver. The Vatadage is a unique creation of the Sri Lankan artists. Polonnaruwa the medieval capital was fortified with inner & outer moats and inner & outer walls. The Parakrama Samudra - a huge man made lake, is on the western side of the city. Another tall wall encloses the Royal Palace, Audience Hall and other buildings are in the inner city.

Day 4

After breakfast proceed to Hunas falls the fabulous hide-away for honeymooners in Sri Lanka. En-route visit Cave Temple a spice garden at Matale to see a variety of luscious plants including cinnamon, cardamoms, pepper and etc. You can also purchase locally grown spices. Evening relax at the hotel or take a nature walk to see the beauty of the surroundings. Candle Lit Dinner & overnight at Hunas Falls Hotel, Kandy.

Cave Temple : Is a vast isolated rock mass 500ft high and a mile around the base. Here is found the famous Rock Temple dating to the 1st century B.C. The caves of Dambulla sheltered the King Walagamba during his 14 years of exile
from Anuradhapura . When he regained the throne, he built the most magnificent of Rock Temples to be found on the island. The first cave is a recumbent image of the Buddha, 47ft long cut out of the Rock. There are images of deities associated with Buddhism all around. The frescoes on the ceiling date back to the 15th -18th centuries. In the second cave the finest and the largest of all, there are 150 life-size statues of gods from the Buddhist religion along with numerous images of the Lord Buddha himself.

Day 5

After breakfast proceed to Kandy and make sightseeing tour of Kandy including “Temple of the Tooth Relic”, Upper Lake drive, Gem museum at etc. Candle Lit Dinner & overnight at Hunas Falls Hotel, Kandy. (4 Star DELUXE Rooms)Kandy - No visit to Sri Lanka is complete without seeing Kandy, the ancient hill capital and domain of the last king of Sri Lanka. Situated at an elevation of 488m, Kandy is rich in tradition and is the spiritual home of Sri Lanka. Perhaps best known for it's Dalada Maligawa, the temple that houses the tooth relic of Lord Buddha. Kandy is steeped in history and many of Sri Lanka's arts and craft flourish here, particularly the silver and brass craftsmanship as well as jewellry in traditional design. It is convenient base of operations for those who wish to see more of the hill country since it affords easy access to many other destinations of interest. Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic - Ever since 4th century A.D. when the Lord Buddha's Tooth was brought to Sri Lanka hidden from sacrilegious hands in an Orison princess' hair, the relic has grown in repute and holiness in Sri Lanka and throughout the Buddhist world. It is considered Sri Lanka's most prized possession

Day 6

After breakfast, proceed to Nuwara-Eliya. En-route visit Royal botanical garden and a tea plantation and a factory at Labukale where the best tea in the world is produced. You will be told all about the process of manufacturing tea. You can also see how tea is graded. Taste a cup of pure Ceylon tea in the factory. Dinner and overnight at Hotel Tea Factory, Nuwara-Eliya (4 Star)Royal Botanical Garden :147 acres in extent; started in 1374 as a pleasure garden of the Kings of Gampola and Kandy . There are more than 500 species of trees, plants and creepers. Some rare and endemic as well as flora from the tropical world are found in the gardens. The Spice Garden and Orchid House are popular with visitors.
There are 5 Palm Avenues beautifying the gardens, the earliest and the tallest Palm Avenue (Royal Palm Avenue) was planted in 1905 and the double coconuts from the Seashells Island, with the world's largest plant seed in one such avenue.
Nuwara Eliya - The “Little England” of Sri Lanka, is set against beautiful backdrops of mountains, valleys, waterfalls, and tea plantation. It is supposed to be one of the coolest places on the island, but it is really just like an English spring day, although the temperature does drop at night.

Day 7

After breakfast leave for wilderness at Yala National Park via Ella. Afternoon make a Big Game Safari by a 4 WD Jeep at Yala National Park. According to the Leopard Research Yala Block 1 has one of the highest densities of Leopards in the world. Yala therefore offers one of the best chances in Asia to see Leopards. Other large animals you may see include Elephant, Sloth Bear, Mugger Crocodile, Spotted Deer, Sambhur, Wild Boar, Wild Buffalo, Jackal, Grey Langur, and Mongoose. Birding highlights include Malabar Pied Hornbill, Painted Stork, Lesser Adjutant and Black-necked Stork and etc. Dinner and overnight at Elephant Reach Hotel, Yala. (4 Star)

Day 8

After breakfast proceed for a fantastic 5 star beach stay at Eden Resort & Spa, Beruwala via Galle and Hikkaduwa. En-route visit 17th Century Galle Dutch Fort which became a man made defence during Tsunami & Visit a Turtle Hatchery at Kosgoda. Dinner and overnight at Eden Resort & Spa, Beruwala. Day 9
