World Heritage Area and Fiordlandâs longest valley. This is the only major track that can be walked in any season and that also connects to the Fiordland Coastline. A truely spectacular historic walk.

Itinerary
Day 1
We meet at Gunn's Camp in the Hollyford Valley for pre-walk talk and glowworm viewing. Following morning we take a scenic flight to Martins Bay.
A quick side trip to Long Reef on the West Coast for the opportunity to view seals & penguins (weather permitting).
Our walk begins heading up the Hollyford Valley, lunching on the shores of Lake McKerrow and visiting Jamestown [settler's proposed South Island capital] before enjoying a hearty evening meal and comfortable lodgings at the newly built Hokuri Hut.
Day 2
Early the next day we take a thrilling jet boat ride along Lake McKerrow and up the Hollyford River to Pyke Lodge. From here we walk to Lake Alabaster for morning tea and then continue up the Hollyford Valley to Hidden Falls via Little Homer Falls/Saddle.
We have a relaxing lunch at Hidden Falls before continuing our walk out to Gunn's Camp mid to late afternoon.

Important Notice : Avoiding Fraud
It's rare, but some helpful hints to watch out for with regards to fraud:
- It is important to NEVER wire funds or use/employ other fund transfer mechanisms such as western union: Always use a credit card to protect yourself against fraud. If owners pressure you into providing a deposit or refuse to accept credit cards, there is a high probability that this is a scam.

Ask them for contact details for guests who have previously stayed on their property insisting on telephone numbers. Be suspicious of emails that originate from free email services (yahoo, hotmail, gmail, etc)
- Research the property thoroughly on the internet to see if there is any history or mention of scams associated with the property.
