Itinerary

Day 1

This is a fantastic day trip for people who love the sea and marine mammals. Your tour takes you from Christchurch City, through beautiful rural pastoral scenes, along the coast to Kaikoura, where you will be transferred to a Whale Watch tour. After your encounter with the giants of the sea, enjoy lunch in Kaikoura (own expense). On the return journey to Christchurch a stop will be made at a Fur Seal colony and in the Waipara Valley, one of New Zealand's most rapidly expanding wine regions, for wine tasting. A Japanese-speaking guide is available on request at an additional cost. An alternative coach operator is used for this tour.
