Itinerary

Day 1

Arrive Kathmandu.Flower garlands reception at the airport and transfer to hotel.PM:Free for orientation.Overnight

Day 2

Sightseeing tour of 'Kathmandu City' once called 'Kantipur' or 'City of Glory' visiting Kasthamandap, Temple of the living Goddess called 'Kumari', Hanuman Dhoka, Kal Bhairab-God of Terror, Taleju Temple and 'Swayambunath', or 'The Monkey Temple'. This Buddhist stupa is majestically set high upon a hill over looking the Kathmandu valley.

Lunch on your own and can be had at one of the many good standard restaurants around town. Our guide will recommend the same.

PM 1430-1730 hrs: We visit the ancient city of Bhaktapur, or city of Devotees, also known as Bhadgaon, visiting Durbar square, Lion gate, the five storied Nyatopolo Temple, the tallest of its kind in Nepal, and the palace of 55 windows. The film, LITTLE BUDDHA was shot here, among other places in Nepal.Overnight at hotel

Day 3

Kathmandu to Lukla (2,827 m.): Fly 45 minutes then walk to Phakding (2,652 ) about 3 hrs.: The trail descends steadily through the bank of Dudh Koshi river, Sherpa villages and
mani stones and reaches to Phakding for camp

Day 4

Phakding to Namche Bazar (3,446 m.): With a slight climb to Jorsalle, pass a waterfall along this part of the trail villages enjoying magnificent forest of Rhododendron, Mangoliya,
and Giant Firs then walk up to Namche Bazar.

Day 5

Rest at Namche Bazar: Rest day at Namche Bazar for acclimatization

Day 6

Namche Bazar to Khumjung.Overnight

Day 7

Khumjung to Dole.Overnight.

Day 8

Dole to Machherma ( 4410m ): Gradually up to the wide valley, Luza surrounded by snowcapped mountains with multi-dimensional images of the mountains.Overnight.

Day 9

Machherma to Gokyo ( 4750m ): An easy walk through Pangkha then cross a small river which flows down from Cho You ( 8153m ) and enter the Gokyo valley. One can
see beautiful lakes of different kinds here.Overnight.

Day 10

Gokyo to Gokyo Ri ( 5360m ) and to Luza: Go up to the Gokyo Ri early in the morning and witness themagnificent view of Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Cho You, and as well as
other innumerable peaks. Sunrise to see fromhere is very interesting and come back to Luza.Overnight.

Day 11

to Namche Bazaar.Overnight.

Day 12

Namche Bazaar to Phakding.Overnight

Day 13

Phakding to Lukla.Overnight.

Day 14

Lukla to Kathmandu: Fly back ( 45 minutes )Arrive Kathmandu.Transfer to hotel.Day free.

Day 15

Breakfast at the hotel free until departure transfer.

Please note the following points:

1. Accommodation - You and your party will be having a twin beded room.Rooms at most trek places are star rated but they are comfortable and almost all like it.Also most places have hot/cold water.

2. Diet - Ala carte basis- menu have continental/Nepali food as well as local specialities.Again most like it.

3. Support staff- there will be one trek guide(highly experienced and english speaking) and two porterw.If needed we can give another porter depending on the load factor.But for 4-5 people two porter and one guide is enough.

4. Our staff will meet you at airport on arrival and transfer you to hotel.In the evening there will be a trek briefing with our guide and our guide will also fly with you to Lukla.

Important Notice : Avoiding Fraud
