Itinerary

Day 1

On your arrival at Kathmandu Airport you will be met by our representative who will take you to the hotel for the night.

Day 2

You are driven from Kathmandu to Pokhara (tourist Bus), arriving at lunch time. Take the afternoon to look around the lake side and return back to Hotel, B.B. O/N at Pokhara.

Day 3

After having breakfast you will drive to Nayapul and start trekking, the trails proceed to Ghandruk by crossing Shauli Bazaar (1140m) and the Sadhu Khola (river), the trail ascend to Ghandruk (1940m) O/N at Ghandruk.

Day 4

After having breakfast you will take a trip around Ghandruk valley. You will be taken to the Annapurna Conservation Project and The Traditional Gurung Museum. In the Museum you can see the clothes and equipment used by the Gurung's which offers an insight into the life style of Gurung people. Return to the Gandruk. O/N at Ghandruk.

Day 5

From Ghandruk the trail descends to Chane (1690m) and to Kimchi (1640m). Follow the ridge downhill to Kehone Danda then to Kliu (1390m) and on to a suspension bridge crossing over the Sadhu Khola (river), finally arriving alongside the modi Khola you will reach Shauli Bazaar (1140m). Passing through the lovely birch forest you will get to Lamakhet and then to Birethanti (1000m). Walking about half hour you will reach to Napa Pul. Drive to Pohkara.

Day 6

Drive back to Kathmandu (6 hours drive by tourist bus), Hotel, B.B. O/N at Kathmandu.

Day 7

Transfer to Airport for your onward destination

Ghandruk’s huge Gurung Valley, is the second largest Gurung village settlement in Nepal and headquarters of the Annapurna Conservation Project. Ghandruk offers excellent views of Annapurna South, Machhapuchchhre and Himalchuli. Most of the inhabitants of this village were heavily dependent upon employment in the British Army till the second half of the 20th century. In this area the rewarding trekking begins from Naya Pul, exploring the scenic and magnificent beauty of this rich natural paradise. In Ghandruk you can see the Traditional Gurung Museum which displays the local traditional clothes and equipment used by the Gurung people.
