Itinerary
Day 1
Arrive Yangon
Upon arrival, you will be welcome by our guide and transferred to your hotel. Your sight seeing begins with a visit to the National Museum, for an introduction in to the wonderfully rich history and culture of this dynamic country. Continue exploring downtown Yangon by foot. Continue to the huge Bogyoke Market (formerly known as Scott Market) offering a wide selection of Burmese handicrafts and other goods. End your day with Myanmar's holiest monument, the incredible Shwedagon Pagoda, a place of great spiritual importance to the Buddhist people.

Day 2
Yangon (B)
This morning, fly to Bagan, whose thousands of ancient stupas and temples make the area one of the most remarkable archaeological sites in Asia. From the 11th till 13th century, when Bagan was the capital of Myanmar, the rulers constructed huge stupas and temples, many of which are still standing today on the banks of the Irrawaddy River. Your day's tour, takes you to some of the best known sites including: Shwezigon, Ananda, Htilominlo, Sulamani, amongst others. End your day with a horse carriage tour among the temples and watch the sun set over the plains of Bagan from one of the open upper terraced temples.

Day 3

his morning's tour begins with a visit to the local market before proceeding to Myinkaba village to visit some smaller temples. We will also visit a local family workshop to watch about the production process of lacquer ware, one of Myanmar's best-known handicrafts. In the afternoon, visit to the countryside village of Minnanthu, one of the least visited area in Bagan. Here you will find temples such as Payathonzu, with its unusual architecture and Tantric Buddhism influence, Lemyethna and Nandamannya. End your day with a slow cruise down the Irrawaddy River, Myanmar's largest river.

Day 4
Bagan - Mt. Popa - Bagan (B,L)
Take an excursion to Mount Popa, located southeast of Bagan. This extinct volcano is over 1,500m high and plays an important role in Myanmar culture, religion and history. The local people believe that Mount Popa is home to 37 nats, ancient animist spirits, and they come to the shrine to pay homage and make offerings to these spirits. After your visit, enjoy sweeping views of the valley below as you dine at the Popa Mountain Resort, nestled in the hills behind Mount Popa. Upon returning to Bagan, the afternoon is at your leisure to shop, swim in the hotel's pool, enjoy a massage, or perhaps do more sightseeing.

Day 5
Bagan - Thandwe - Ngapali (B)
After breakfast, depart for the airport for the flight to Thandwe. Upon arrival, a short transfer takes you to the Ngapali Beach. Over three kilometres of pristine white sandy beach await you at Ngapali. The tranquil blue seas of the Bay of Bengal and coconut palms along the sand make Ngapali one of the most picturesque beaches in the world. Despite its beauty, relatively few tourists come to visit, thus making it a tranquil place for a relaxing beach holiday.

Day 6

Four full days of relaxing on the beach await you. After a delicious breakfast at your hotel, your days are free to enjoy the natural beauty of Ngapali. If you wish, there are optional several excursions that can be arranged for you. A half-day boat trip takes you out to several uninhabited nearby islands. Or, if you are feeling adventurous, a boat trip can be arranged for snorkelling or there is even an option to hire a boat for fishing! (Private boat and all necessary equipment will be provided by the hotel.) Return back to the hotel before noon and at leisure to enjoy the beach. You may wish to enjoy a massage with the hotel's trained spa staff.

Important Notice : Avoiding Fraud
It's rare, but some helpful hints to watch out for with regards to fraud:
- It is important to NEVER wire funds or use/employ other fund transfer mechanisms such as western union: Always use a credit card to protect yourself against fraud. If owners pressure you into providing a deposit or refuse to accept credit cards, there is a high probability that this is a scam.
- If at all suspicious of fraud, ask to see their website, or any other literature they can provide or send to you. Ask them for contact details for guests who have previously stayed on their property insisting on telephone numbers. Be suspicious of emails that originate from free email services (yahoo, hotmail, gmail, etc)
- Research the property thoroughly on the internet to see if there is any history or mention of scams associated with the property.
