Itinerary

Day 1

Day (1) Yangon
Arrive in the morning, welcome and transfer to the hotel and lunch at a local restaurant. Afternoon visit the Chaukhtatgyi Reclining Buddha, and the Shwedagon Pagoda. Dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight at your hotel.

Day 2

Day (2) Yangon/Bagan
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to airport for morning flight to Bagan. Full day visit in the archaeological site: Shwezigon, lacquer ware workshopsÂ… with Lunch at a local restaurant on the bank of the river. View sunset from a temple terrace. Overnight at your hotel.

Day 3

Day (3) Bagan
Breakfast at hotel. Morning visit to Minnanthu village: Phayarthonsu temple, Nandamayna temple and Tayokepyay temple. Lunch at a local restaurant. Afternoon continue visit to Myingaba village and its temples. Watch a puppet show during dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight at your hotel.

Day 4

Day (4) Bagan/Mandalay
Breakfast at hotel. Morning drive from Bagan to Mandalay. On the way visit toddy palm farms and Mt. Popa (home of 37 nats). Lunch at a local restaurant in Meikhtila. Visit Htihlaing monastery before arriving Mandalay. Dinner and Overnight stay at your hotel.

Day 5

Day (5) Mandalay
Breakfast at hotel. Morning visit Mandalay city: Kuthodaw Pagoda, Golden Palace Monastery, gold leaf making, Shwe lnnbin monastery, and Mahamuni Pagoda, Lunch at a local restaurant. Afternoon visit to Mingun by boat.Sunset on the river. Dinner and Overnight stay at your hotel.

Day 6

Day(6) Mandalay/ Heho/ Pindaya/ Inle Lake
Breakfast at hotel. Morning flight to Heho. Proceed to Pindaya with several photo stops to this beautiful Shan plateau, lunch at a local restaurant. Visit the Pindaya cave with thousands of gilded Buddha images, traditional Bamboo umbrella workshops, then drive to Nyanung Shwe. Dinner and overnight at your hotel.

Day 7

Day (7) Inle Lake
Breakfast at hotel. Full day excursion the Lake by boat. Discover Intha people's village and monasteries on stilts, fishing technique, floating gardens, silk weaving workshop, cheroot factories, Phaung Daw Oo pagoda and Inndein MonasteryÂ…Lunch at a local restaurant. Dinner and overnight at your hotel .

Day 8

Day (8) Inle lake/ Heho/Yangon
Breakfast at hotel. Proceed by boat along the canal to Nyaungshwe, visit Shwe Yanpyay monastery. Lunch at a local restaurant. Transfer to Heho airport for afternoon flight to Yangon. Dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight at your hotel .

Day 9

Day (9) Yangon
Breakfast at hotel.City tour of Yangon to the spice and Bogyoke markets, Botahtaung pagoda at the river front. Lunch at a local restaurant. Afternoon transfer to the airport for flight to your next destination.

Important Notice : Avoiding Fraud

It's rare, but some helpful hints to watch out for with regards to fraud:

  • It is important to NEVER wire funds or use/employ other fund transfer mechanisms such as western union: Always use a credit card to protect yourself against fraud. If owners pressure you into providing a deposit or refuse to accept credit cards, there is a high probability that this is a scam.
  • If at all suspicious of fraud, ask to see their website, or any other literature they can provide or send to you. Ask them for contact details for guests who have previously stayed on their property insisting on telephone numbers. Be suspicious of emails that originate from free email services (yahoo, hotmail, gmail, etc)
  • Research the property thoroughly on the internet to see if there is any history or mention of scams associated with the property.
