Itinerary
Day 1
Day 01 Ulaanbaatar city
Arrival to Ulaanbaatar and check in hotel.
Day 2
Day 02 Bayanhongor province
Today, the trip will start by the flight to Bayanhongor province, where our drivers will await you. Lunch and dinner will be supplied in real nature with convenient and comfortable chairs and table : under the star sky of Gobi. Overnight on the way in tent : first night in Great Gobi.
Day 3
Day 03 Khongoryn Els sand dunes
After breakfast, we continue the trip to Khongoryn Els sand dunes, which extends over 180 km. Lunchbox. On the way meet local camel breeding family. Dinner and overnight in tourist camp.
Day 4
Day 04 Khongoryn Els sand dunes
After breakfast, will explore the area of Khongoryn Els sand dunes and Sevrei mountain. Lunchbox. Then, will continue the around trip of Khongoryn Els sand dunes and have enjoyable camel riding : camel rent is available in local place. Overnight on the way in tent.
Day 5
Day 05 South Gobi via Bayanzag & Flaming Cliffs
After breakfast will drive to explore Bayanzag : biggest saxaul forest and Flaming cliffs, where you will find the archaeology place, when Roy Andrew Chapman discovered fossilized dinosaurs skeleton and eggs in 1920s. Driving through South Gobi will give you a great impression by view of the flora and fauna of northern desert in the world. Lunch : picnic. At end of the day will arrive in Gobi tourist camp. Dinner and overnight in tourist camp.
Day 6
Day 06 Yol Canyon
Today we have a day trip to Yol Canyon : exciting place, which composed from rocky high mountain ranges of Three Beauties of Gobi and Altai mountain. Lunch. Dinner in the tourist camp. Overnight in tourist camp.
Day 7
Day 07 Ulaanbaatar
Breakfast, In the morning we were flying to Ulaanbaatar. Lunch Dinner in Ulaanbaatar. Overnight in hotel.
Day 8
Day 08 Terelj Khan Khenty National Park
We will drive around 70 km to reach the National Park Terelj Khan Khenty : most exciting place near the city. Lunch. Explore the extraordinary formation of rocks and stones, which some of them looks quite similar with Turtle, person who reading book and others : by walking or horse riding, where we need to rent horses from local area. Then, going to meet local people. Dinner and overnight in tourist camp.
Day 9
Day 09 Departure
After breakfast will be transferred from hotel to train station or airport.
