Itinerary

Day 1

Meet at the “Chinggis Khaan” international airport. Arrival in Ulaanbaatar. Transfer to the hotel. City sightseeing tour: Sukhbaatar Square, Chinggis Khaan's monument, museums, Gandantegchilen Monastery, Megjidjanraisag. To photograph or observe Ulaanbaatar city from Zaisan Hill Memorial. Visit Buddha's statue, Bogd Khaan's Palace Museum.

Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2

Drive to Khustai Nuruu from Ulaanbaatar. Take photos of zebra and other animals. Drive to “Bayangobi” tourist camp. Take photos of sand dunes, zag tree and beautiful scenic places.

Overnight at the camp.

Day 3

Drive to Kharakhorum from the camp. Visit to Erdenezuu and Tuvkhun monastery /cave/. Drive to Ogii lake. Trekking along the coast of Ogii lake and take photos of birds. Overnight at the camp.

Day 4

Drive back to Ulaanbaatar from Ogii lake. Arrival at the hotel.

Day 5

Visit Sukhbaatar Square to watch “Chinggis Khan's 9 white flag” consecrating event. Experience the Opening Ceremony of the Naadam Festival. Watch the “Three manly sports” of wrestling, archery, horse racing and take photos. Watch reverence concert /Mongolian Traditional Folk Performance/
Overnight at the hotel.

Day 6

Flight to south Gobi province /Dalanzadgad/ by local flight. Drive to “Juulchin” tourist camp. Visit Gobi Gurvan Saikhan National Park (Canyons of Yol Valley) and local museums.

Overnight at the camp.

Day 7

Leave the camp to Khongoriin Els. Trekking through Khongoriin Els, vast sand dunes, watching white and black-tailed gazelles and take photos of them.

Overnight at the camp.

Day 8

Drive back to “Juulchin” tourist camp from Khongoriin Els.

Overnight at the camp.

Day 9

Go to watch Baynzag where many dinosaur eggs were found /pale ontological sites/. Visit camel herder's family and ride camels. Overnight at the camp.

Day 10

Flight back to Ulaanbaatar by local flight. Stay at the hotel. Visit Natural History Museum, Temple of Choijn Lama. Watch “Uren Khans” ballet.

Day 11

Drive to Terelj National Park. Go to see caves, “Turtle Rock” formation “Ovoo” worship and “Ariyaval” meditation monastery. Visit herder's family, getting acquainted with their way of life and to learn about Mongolian nomadic custom. Ride horses.
Overnight at the camp.

Day 12

Drive to Manzshir Monastery from Terelj. Trekking around local museums and temples. Overnight at the camp.

Day 13

Drive back to Ulaanbaatar and stay at the hotel. Free time /State Department Store, Souvenir shops, cashmere shops/. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 14

Transfer to “Chinggis Khan” international airport for departure.
