Itinerary

Day 1

Arrive in UB and transfer to the vegetarian hostel. In the afternoon after lunch you will have sight seeing program in Ulaanbaatar including Gandan monastery, Mongolian Natural History museum and the Fine Art museum. Dinner will be at local restaurant. Overnight in the vegetarian hostel.

Day 2

After breakfast at the vegetarian hostel, head to the west of Ulaanbaatar. The scenery is wide-open steppe with rolling hills in the background. We will stop for lunch along the way. Overnight in a ger (Mongolian traditional dwelling) next to Ogiin Nuur ( Lake).

Day 3

Today you will get acquainted with your horse and tack and set out for the first ride. You may also wish to spend some time resting, swimming and bird watching. Later, we will drive to Khoshoo Tsaidam, and exploring ruins from the time of the Turkish Empire. Overnight in the previous night's camp.

Day 4

Ride towards Kharakhorum, setting up camp at a place called Five Trees close to Kharakhorum. Overnight in the tent

Day 5

Ride towards Khar Khorin City.
The symbolic ruin of Khar Khorin, the ancient capital of the Mongolian Empire in the 13 th century and visit the Erdene Zuu monastery which is situated in the vast valley of the Orkhon river, the second lagest river in Mongolia. Erdene Zuu, built on the ruin of Khar Khorin in 1586, was the first Buddhist center. Overnight in a ger.

Day 6

We will continue riding until we reach Nariin Valley, which is on the way to Tovkhon Monastery. Overnight in the tent.

Day 7

Ride to Tovkhon temple, which is located on the peak of the picturesque Khogno mountain. The first religious leader of Mongolia the Undur Gegeen Zanabazar worked and lived the temple, was his Artistic creation's temple and is one of the 10 stone monasteries of the 17th century. Mother`s Yretree- legendary cave, Locals believe that the visit to this cave will protect a person from misfortune, diseases and repent one's sins. Overnight in the tent.

Day 8

Continue to Orkhon Waterfall. The waterfall is situated in the Orkhon Valley and this valley is known as the cradle of the Mongolian civilization since many of Mongolia's ancient monuments lie within its borders. We will camp overnight by the waterfall. Overnight in the tent.

Day 9

Today we will drive until we reach to Khogno Khaan mountain. The mountain is perfect for some afternoon hiking and there are some remains of an ancient monastery that should be explored. Overnight in a ger camp.

Day 10

Today we will drive until we reach to Khogno Khaan mountain. The mountain is perfect for some afternoon hiking and there are some remains of an ancient monastery that should be explored. Overnight in a ger camp.

Day 11

Drive back to Ulaanbaatar city after lunch. Visit the Mongolian History museum and shopping. See a traditional folklore concert by the best Mongolian ensemble. Dinner will be in the local restaurants. Overnight in the vegetarian hostel.

Day 12

Transfer to the airport for international departures after breakfast.
