Itinerary

Day 1

Ulaanbaatar city
Arrival to Ulaanbaatar city. Transfer to the Vegetarian hostel.

Day 2

Ulaanbaatar city
After breakfast you will have sight seeing program in Ulaanbaatar including Gandan monastery, Mongolian Natural History museum and the Fine Art museum. Dinner and lunch will be at local restaurant

Day 3

Olgii Town
Breakfast, Transfer to the airport, Fly to Olgii Town- center of Bayan Olgii Province in Mongolian Northern west. Free time, Hiking to hills and riding on horses and so on.. Stay overnigh in ger tourist camp.

Day 4

Eagle festival day
Breakfast,
10:00 Opening ceremony, introductions,
11:00 Competition event #1, Traditional Dress display their home made traditional outfits
12:00 Competition event #2, Eagle Call Tests, Nomad's ability to ‘call' Eagle to their horse from a distance,
1:30 Lunch, 2:30Multiple events /Anklebones and archery competition , Question and answer with Eagle Hunters, Cultural lecture : History of the Kazakhs/ ,
4:00 Art and handcraft show with question and answer following,
6:00 Break for dinner
8:00 History of Kazakh Wall Hangings Learn the history and technique of making the elaborate wall hangings that are one of Mongolia's most sought after items
8:30Wall Hanging Auction. A rare opportunity to purchase wall hangings directly from the families that made them. The auction will feature some especially old wall hangings, with certificate of authenticity.
Stay overnight in Ger at the tourist camp

Day 5

Eagle festival day
Breakfast,
10:00 Kazakh Horse Games Kyz Kuar - A race between a man and woman on horseback, Tiyn Teru - Riders compete to pick up coins from the ground during the race/
12:00 Kazakh dance and song performance
1:00 Lunch
2:30 Competition event #3,
4:00 Afternoon break
6:00 Closing dinner, awards

Day 6

Ulaanbaatar city
Breakfast, Drive to Olgii town, Fly to Ulaanbaatar city back, Transfer to the Vegetarian hostel, Lunch, Free time, In the evening visit to National theater for Folklore concert with songs, dance and contortion acts, Dinner, Stay in hotel
