Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival to Ulaanbaatar and check in hotel. City tour including of Gandan Monastery, Sukhbaatar square, Zaisan hill to preview whole city and one museum with optional varieties Natural History Museum. In the evening we'll have exciting performance in Tumen Ekh Chuulga to see traditional folklore such as dance, song, mask dance. Hotel.

Day 2

After breakfast, we will drive to Taikhar Rock. Lunchbox. After arrival in Taikhar rock will explorie the river, nature landscape and wildlife by walking and can have good photo shots. Dinner and overnight in tourist camp.

Day 3

After breakfast, will drive to Horgo will explore and discover the Horgo extinct volcano crater, which crater deep is 200 meters, and Terkhiin tsagaan lake : good spot for bird watching and fishing. Lunchbox. Horse : exploring their lifestyle and cooking. Dinner and overnight in tourist camp.

Day 4

After breakfast, we will make horseback tour in Horgo National Park. Lunch- Pic nic. Overnight in tent.

We will make horseback tour in Horgo National Park. Lunch- Pic nic. Overnight in tent.

Day 6

After breakfast, we will drive to Erdene Zuu monastry. The Kara-Korum : capital city of Mongolian Empire was founded in times of Chinggis Khaan - 12th century. Meanwhile, we will visit the Monastery : Erdene-Zuu, with 108 stupas and was built in 1586. Then will drive to the tourist camp. Lunch, dinner and overnight in tourist camp.

Day 7

After breakfast, will driveback to Ulaanbaatar. Lunch. We will have the tour with visit of museum. Shopping. Lunch. Dinner. Hotel.

Day 8

After breakfast, will be transferred from hotel to train station or airport.

Surrounded by extinct volcanoes, Terkhiin tsagaan is one of the most beautiful lake in Mongolia. Being elevation at an altitude of 2060 meters, the lake occupies an area of over 300 square kilometers. This astonishingly beautiful crystal clear water lake is renowned for its fish and bird life. Pike is found in plenty and bird species including ruddy shelduck and great cormorant are common.
The dead volcano of Horgo stands on the Terhiin tsagaan Nuur Lake. There is a huge volcanic crater, about 200 meters wide and 100 meters deep. A large solidified lava formation on the southern slope of Horgo is trickily called 'Basalt ger'.
