Itinerary

Day 1

Tailored flexible packages.
Example - Pick up from Tawau airport morning flight, or from hotel in Tawau... Ground transfer to Semporna. Guests arriving independently in Semporna can meet at the jetty for 08:15 boat departure to Mabul Island.
Arrive Mabul Island for welcome and lunch.
Check-in at dive resort with refreshing coconut. Orientation dive around Mabul island will be conducted in the afternoon.

Day 2

Diving, snorkelling, and fishing can be arranged according to preferences, experience, and certification.
PADI 5* Gold Palm rated dive resort set up with divers needs in mind, with all the facilities, quality equipment, and very friendly expreienced divemasters.
Full range of PADI courses available.
For certified divers included in this example package is 4 days of 3 dives a day between Mabul, Kapalai, and Sipadan Islands.
N.B dive spots and sipadan dives will be dependent on quota and conditions.

Day 6

Check out of the accommodation in the morning, and leave bags with the reception if later departure.
1 boat dive possible at Mabul or Kapalai for guests staying overnight in Tawau or Semporna or those with onward overland transfers.
No diving is possible for those with evening flights. Guests are advised to rest from diving 24 hours before flying.

Important Notice : Avoiding Fraud

It's rare, but some helpful hints to watch out for with regards to fraud:

  • It is important to NEVER wire funds or use/employ other fund transfer mechanisms such as western union: Always use a credit card to protect yourself against fraud. If owners pressure you into providing a deposit or refuse to accept credit cards, there is a high probability that this is a scam.
  • If at all suspicious of fraud, ask to see their website, or any other literature they can provide or send to you. Ask them for contact details for guests who have previously stayed on their property insisting on telephone numbers. Be suspicious of emails that originate from free email services (yahoo, hotmail, gmail, etc)
  • Research the property thoroughly on the internet to see if there is any history or mention of scams associated with the property.
