Itinerary

Day 1

Day 1: (-/L/-) Itinerary
0800 Meet and Greet at Sandakan City / Hotel or Meet upon Arrival at the Sandakan Airport (preferably on MH2042 ETA0810hrs). Drive for approximately 30-40 minutes to Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre. Proceed to the free roaming area feeding platform. AT 1000, enjoy the moments of feeding the Orang Utans. At this centre, you may observe “the Orang Utan” ( being rehabilitated ) so that they can roam freely in the wilds again. Also, take in the fresh air and experience a walk in the Tropical Lowland Dipterocarp Forest of Borneo.
1100 Transfer to Sandakan Jetty
1200 Enjoy a 1 hour boat cruise up to the Lower Kinabatangan River Sanctuary. This is a wonderful journey of discovery which starts from the waters of Sulu Sea of Sandakan Town through a magnificent scenery of the Mangrove Forest, where you will take your lunch at Abai Jungle Restaurant.
Noon Lunch
1400 After lunch, enjoy a cruise in search of the Endemic Proboscis Monkeys, Birds and other wildlife.
pm Transfer to Sandakan City/ Hotel / Airport
