Itinerary

Day 1

Let's Raft It Out! It�s a Fantastic River at an Ideal Location! Located a mere 1 and half hour drive away from Kuala Lumpur, Sungai Slim (Slim River) offers the an exciting challenge for White-Water Rafting. This river boasts a cascading rapids of Grade 1 � Grade 3. There are over 20 rapids to go through on the 8km stretch of the river. This river is suitable for beginners and experienced rafters.
Thousands from all over the world have come and enjoyed White-water Rafting with us every year. We have an excellent safety record and will ensure you will have an enjoyable day out.In Malaysia, with our tropical weather, white-water rafting is available all year round.You will be coming with the ONLY rafting outfitter with a permanent base camp in SLIM RIVER equipped with changing/shower/toilet facilities and a covered common area for dinning and resting.
LATEST ITINERARY BEGINNING 1ST MARCH 2008.We have confirmed group departures every Saturday and Sunday. We will meet you for your departure from AMCORP MALL, Petaling Jaya at 7.30am.Closest LRT (Light Rail Transit) station is TAMAN JAYA on the PUTRA line. Advance booking is recommended. If you have a group of 5 pax or more, we can depart on any day of your choice.ITINERARY
07:30hrs Meet at the AMCORP MALL, Petaling Jaya and depart for Slim River.
0900HRS Arrive Kampung Ulu Slim. Proceed to the Put-In Point at POS TIBANG. It will be a 30-minute travel there.1030HRS Allocation of all rafting equipments (Helmet/PFD/Paddles), followed by detailed briefing on safety and rafting techniques. Participants will be divided into groups with a maximum of 6 persons per raft.The run will take about 2.5 hours � 3 hours depending on group size.1300HRS (Approx) Arrival at the �Take Out� point (Kampung Pos Bersih) where participants will be transferred back by 4WD to Kampung Ulu Slim (about 15 minute drive) to shower and enjoy the buffett lunch before departing back to destination of origin.

River sandals or lace up shoes for wearing on raft , swimming attire � t-shirt and shorts, soap & shampoo, sunscreen lotion, personal medication, straps to secure your spectacles, goggles if you wear contact lenses, towel, a sets of clothes to change into after your rafting, plastic bag for your wet clothes and some drinking water.
