Itinerary

Day 1

Flights (on own, offer well discounted air)
from LAX, SFO or JFK crossing the international date line. Gain a day on the return trip.

Day 2

Be met outside baggage claim and transfer to lovely hotel in Ubud, center of arts and culture. Relax at gorgeous pool. Dinner
sampling some of "delicious tastes of Bali".

Day 3

Begin orientation with charming, renowned
Balinese guide. Visit at home compound at studio or master artist, mask maker.
This afternoon enjoy pampering Balinese style.
This evening to temple ceremony in village temple.

Day 4

Today meet with performing artist gamelan and dance. Afternoon free time and this evening enjoy performance under the stars.

Day 5

Out into the country and visit with remarkable traditional healer.
This afternoon free time and more pampering.

Day 6

Out to Bali's sacred mountains and most important temples. Participate in ceremony by special arrangement.
Lunch included, full day excursion.
Also see how the ikat wearing is done.

Day 7

Check out and head for southern Bali to lovely hotel on beach. Excursion to southernmost Bali for hike, and performance. Dinner on the beach, Balinese style feast.

Day 8

Free morning last minute shop or morning on the beach. Flights home today (or stay longer --you'll be well acclimated) Peace now and on your continuing journey.
