Itinerary
Day 1
Arrival Red Hills & check in at your mountain retreat.Its here in Red Hills that the forests are magnificient & vast,the foliage is dense , the air is crisp& pure. Lush eye soothing greenery covers whole areas right into the horizon!!
The day is for a tour of the eight lakes all within 25 km radius of this picturesque town.A gentle walk alon their shores , with a myriad birdsongs as accompaniment , is a great day spent.
Dinner & overnight at Red Hills.
Day 2
Red Hills : Day excursions to Avalanche village which is inhabited by one of the oldest tribes of the Nilgiri Hills & which also houses a trout hatchery more than 100 years old.
Next onthe agenda is a visit to the open grasslands & jade forests of Parson's Valley Lake.
Dinner & overnight at Red Hills.
