Itinerary
Day 1
Arrival Mandi & check in at your riverside mountain retreat.
Post breakfast visit the Pandoh Dam.
The historic town of Mandi (800M.) Is built along the banks of the river Beas. Mandi is reowned for its 81 old temples and their enormous range of fine carving and is also called the Varanasi of the Hills. Some of these famous temples are Tarna, Trilokinath, Panjwaktra, Ruder Akadas, Ardhareshwar.At lesiure to visit these temples.
Post lunch visit the famous Rewalsar Lake.Situated on Mandi-Hamirpur road at a distance of 25 kms. from Mandi. Natural lake famous for religious sanctity. Called as Taposrhal of maharishi Lomas. Rewalsar is the only place where Budhist Monestry, Rama temple and Gurudwara exists. A real religious integration place. Naina Devi temple is just 7 Kms. away from Rewalsar and is located at the highest point. It provides wide range view of adjoining areas.
Dinner & overnight at Mandi.
Day 2
Mandi: Full day excursion to Prashar Lake.40 Kms. north of Mandi is this beautiful lake with a three storyed Pagida like temple dedicated to 14th century is built on the age of a lake.
