Itinerary

Day 1

Day 01: Solang Valley Camp Retreat - Kothi (by car) - Bhrigu Lake (4235m)
Duration: 5 hours

The participants will be transferred from the Base Camp by car to Kothi from which the trek will commence to Bhrigu Lake. The trail is interspersed cedar and silver birch forests. Climbing steadily, it leads to the lake set in a high-altitude meadow.

Day 2

Day 02: Bhrigu Lake - Vashisht Village : Solang Valley Camp Retreat
Duration: 5 hours

On the second day, the trail descends to Vashisht Village where the participants can take a much-anticipated bath at the sulfur springs. From there, it's a short hour's walk back to Solang Valley

Close enough to habitation, yet in a secluded, lush green dale, the Bhirgu Lake is at an altitude of 4235 metres. It lies east of the Rohtang Pass and is about 6 km from the village of Gulaba. The shores of this clear water lake are visited regularly by the people of the area and are held sacred to 'rishi' Brighu.
