Itinerary
Day 1
Arrival Kanatal & check in at your mountain retreat.Post breakfast an excursion to The Surkhanda Devi Temple.Surkhanda Devi is one of the most sought after pilgrimage and tourist destinations in and around Kanatal, largely because it is one of the three temples considered sacred by Hindus the other two being Chamba and Kunja Puri.
Later excursion to The Tehri Dam.
Situated on the River Bhagirathi, the main tributary of the Ganges, the Tehri Dam and the large artificial lake created by it are among the largest infrastructural projects taken up in the entire Garhwal region of Uttaranchal. Once it is completed, Tehri will be the tallest dam in Asia and the fourth tallest earth and rock fill dam in the world.
Evening is at leisure to enjoy in-house activities of your mountain retreat.
Dinner & overnight at Kanatal.
Day 2
Kanatal : Morning at lesiure to explore the forests abounding the region for the varied flora & fauna.
Later an excursion to Dhanaulti.
Evening spend time exploring the mall at Mussoorie.
Dinner & overnight at Kanatal.
