Itinerary
Day 1
Arrive Guwahati
Meeting upon arrival and transfer to hotel. Afternoon visit Shankardev Kalakshetra, a place where Assamese history and culture is depicted in a sprawling open enclosure. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 2
Guwahati / Tezpur / Nameri
Morning after an early breakfast depart by car to Tezpur. Arrive Tezpur and check in at eco camp in Nameri. Late afternoon go for bird watching at Nameri and looking for the hornbills and other species. Dinner and overnight at Eco-Camp.
Day 3
Tezpur / Dirang (206 kms)
Morning after an early breakfast depart for Dirang. En route visit the famous orchid garden in Tipi near Bhalokpong. Arrive4 Dirang and check in at hotel.
Day 4
Dirang / Tawang
After breakfast drive to Tawang by the same vehicle. En route visit Sela Pass, the second highest motor able road in the world and Jashwant Garh, the war memorial.
Tawang: Nested in the lap of Himalayas at 3500 meters above sea level lies Tawang , the land of Monpas. The local people believe that Merak Lama gave the name Tawang to this hill resort in the 17 th century.
Arrive Tawang and check in at hotel.
Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 5
Tawang
Morning after breakfast full day sightseeing of Tawang visiting Tawang Monastery and Urqelling Monastery. Evening free at leisure. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 6
Tawang / Bomdila (185 kms)
After breakfast depart for Bomdila. En route the famous paradise lake. Arrive and check in at hotel. Afternoon visit craft center, Enthnographic museum and shopping center. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 7
Bomdila / Itanagar (350 kms)
Morning after an early breakfast depart for Bomdila by the same vehicle. En route visit local tribal villages.
Arrive Itanagar and check in at hotel. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 8
Itanagar
Morning after breakfast sightseeing of Itanagar visiting Ita Fort, Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Museum, Ganaga Lake, The Itanagar Sanctuary and the Polo Park. Evening nfree at leisure. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 9
Itanagar / Ziro (167 kms)
Morning after breakfast drive to Ziro. En route visit local Nyshi village in Sagalee. Arrive Ziro and check in at hotel. Afternoon free at leisure. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 10
Ziro
Morning after breakfast visit Tarin, the hight altitude fish farm, a famous whispering pine grove and the craft center. From a hilltop, catch the first rays down lighting up the stunning emerald patchwork quilt of nature. Later visit Talley valley. Talley in Apatani dialect is the name of a plant and to many other the word means paradise. Talley valley is 30 kms from Ziro. It is a picturesque little township with the local population growing paddy in tarraced fields.
Also visit other places of tourist interests including recently discovered longest shiva ling. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 11
Ziro / Daporijo (160 kms)
Morning after breakfast drive to Daporijo. En route visit Tagin tribal villages to get an insight into the unique day to day life of the tribes.
Arrive Daporijo and check in at hotel.
Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 12
Daporizo / Along (178 kms)
Morning after an early breakfast drive to Along. Arrive and check in at hotel. Afternoon visit Ramakrishna Ashram and the Hanging Bridge in the Siang river.
Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 13
Along / Pasighat (106 kms)
After breakfast drive to Pasighat. En route visit Adi (Minyong) Tribal Villages. Arrive and check in at hotel. Afternoon sightseeing of Pasighat visiting Kekar Monying (Black Rock) and Komsing, the memorial stone of Sir Neol Williamson killed by Narmi Manmur Jamoh. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 14
Pasighat / Dibrugarh
Morning after an early breakfast, proceed on a long drive, crossing river Brahmaputra through country made ferry, which takes about 6 hrs to reach at Dibrugarh. Arrive Dibrugarh and drive to Mancotta tea estate. Arrive and check in at the Chang Bunglow.
Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 15
Dibrugarh
Morning after breakfast in time transfer to airport for the onward destination.
