Itinerary
Day 1
Arrival Coonoor & check in at your mountain retreat.
Visit the Sim's Park with its winding footpaths,pergolas,gazebos & the charming lily pond.
Later visit Lamb's Rock,Law's falls,Dolphin's Nose & the ramparts of Droog Fort.
Dinner & overnight at Coonoor.
Day 2
Coonoor : Morning day excursion to Wellington.Post lunch shop for the ever famous exquisite household linen,handkerchiefs with petit point embroidery,Irish & Belgian table sets & shadow worked bedsheets.
Enjoy a toy train ride from Coonoor to Ooty & back through the blue mountains & lush valleys.
Dinner & Overnight at Coonoor.
Day 3
Coonoor: Day trip to Ketty where yellow gorse & lavender flowers bloom.Visit the St Michael Convent here.
Later visit Kotagiri, your typical tea territory with gently sloping hills.The Rangaswami Rock & Pillar,St Catherine Falls & Elk Falls are worth seeing here but the most popular draw is the Kodanad Viewpoint , for views of the plains,the blue hills ,the Moyar river snaking down below & of course the ubiquitous mist rising... this is heaven indeed.
