Day 1

Arrival Baharatpur & check in at your palace / heritage hotel.
This man made sanctuary is home to over 380 species of birds, making it one of the most inviting destinations in the world for ornithologists, amateurs and nature lovers. You can visit this park with full of natural beauty through the tour packages for Bharatpur.



Indigenous water birds, waterside birds, migratory water birds, land migratory birds, and domestic land species are found in this park spread over an area of 29 sq km. It is said that more than 44,000 trees that are used for nesting by birds each year. There are more than 56 different families of birds. One-third of birds at Bharatpur are migrants, many of whom spend their winters in the sanctuary so the best time to visit the sanctuary is in winters



The main attraction for the tourists visiting the park is world famous Siberian Cranes. Birds like Pelicans, Cranes, Ducks, Eagles, Hawks, Pipits, Warblers, Wheatears, Wagtails, Flycatchers, Buntings, Larks, Shanks, and Stints are other popular birds among the tourists and ornithologists.



Wild animals like Sambar, Chital, Chinkara, Blackbuck, Nilgai and wild boar among the many others too add their bit to make this sanctuary one of the most popular ones in the world.
Post lunch a cycle rickshaw ride to the national park with your ornithologist to view the flora & fauna.
