Itinerary
Day 1
Arrival Phnom Penh
Arrive in Phnom Penh , meet and transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day is free at leisure. In the evening we have a tour briefing and welcome dinner with Cambodian delicacies. Overnight in Phnom Penh .

Day 2
Phnom Penh â Kratie
After breakfast, we drive northeast toward the charming town of Kratie . On arrival we check in hotel. After lunch in local restaurant, we will take a river cruise to spot the rare freshwater dolphins on the Mekong . The rest of the time we are free to explore the town.

Day 3
Kratie â Banlung
After breakfast, we depart to Banlung, the capital town of Rattanakiri, nicknamed âthe Red City â because of the omnipresent red soil. Check-in hotel in Ban Lung. Lunch in local restaurant.
Start sightseeing with 4x4 vehicle on bumpy roads. Enjoy the beautiful scenery on the back of an elephant along lush vegetation to a small waterfall. Continue to âYeak Loamâ volcanic lake for a refreshing swim in the clear waters until sunset.
Dinner at local restaurant .Overnight at Terres Rouge Hotel, standard room

Day 4
Trek to Kalai Village
Breakfast in the hotel before we start the trek to Ven Sai and Virachey also known as Phum Chen where we will meet different villages of tribal minorities. They live in small villages along the road that is running across the jungles, on the mountains, down the valleys. We may take a break for lunch at one of the villages on the way. After the lunch break we continue the trek to Kalai village which is approximately 20 km from Ban Lung. Dinner in the village. Overnight camping at Kalai village.

Day 5
Trek to Vensai Village
Breakfast at the campsite. Today, we continue trekking toward Vensai. On the way, we will pass by a number of villages along the way; opportunities to interact with local people en route. As these villages are not too far from the modern town they therefore are more or less adopted to the way of living as the city dwellers. However, their houses could be signified as tribal style. Picnic lunch is served in a local village. After a long trekking day we could have now arrived at Vensai and Virachey that is just across the river from one another. Dinner in the village. Overnight camping at Vensai.

Day 6
Trek to Borkeo Village
After breakfast we start exploring Vensai, one of the biggest minority villages in the area. Then we cross the river to Virachey which is about the same size as Vensai. Today we will meet different minority groups who live in isolated areas carrying on their traditions for hundreds of years. We continue with a transfer by ferry from Virachey to Andung Meas village which has long been famous for gold mines. The name Andung Meas means "the wells of gold". Lunch at Andung Meas. After lunch, we head to Bor Keo, the gem mine village in Rattanakiri. Dinner in the village. Overnight in Bor Keo.

Day 7
Trek to Chrung Village
After breakfast we continue our trek to Chrung village passing different minority villages. Lunch break en route in local village. We end the day in Chrung Village . Dinner in Chrung Village . Overnight camping in Chrung.

Day 8
Trek to Ban Lung
Today is the last day of our trek. After breakfast we head to Ban Lung Village and finish the trekking loop. Lunch break on the way in local village. We will reach Ban Lung in the late afternoon. Tonight, we will celebrate the success of our trekking journey by buffet dinner at the hotel. Overnight in Ban lung.

Day 9
Drive to Kompong Cham
After breakfast, we depart for Kompong Cham. On the way we visit to Chup, a rubber plantation. Arrive in Kompong Cham at 5 pm. Lunch and dinner at local restaurant

Day 10
Kompong Cham â Phnom Penh
After breakfast at local restaurant, we visit to Wat Kohear Nokor, a temple dating from the 11th century and at a village with its pagoda where you will observe the daily life of the monks. Lunch at local restaurant. We will arrival to Phnom Penh in early afternoon. Check in hotel and relax at leisure. Farewell dinner at FCC restaurant. Overnight in hotel.

It's rare, but some helpful hints to watch out for with regards to fraud:
- It is important to NEVER wire funds or use/employ other fund transfer mechanisms such as western union: Always use a credit card to protect yourself against fraud. If owners pressure you into providing a deposit or refuse to accept credit cards, there is a high probability that this is a scam.
