A fantastic way to see the Great Barrier Reef and the Daintree National Park in one short side trip from Cairns or Port Douglas.
Itinerary
Day 1
Pick up from your accommodation in Cairns or Port Douglas. Take a tour of the Daintree River, spotting for wild crocodiles. Morning tea. Rainforest boardwalks in the Daintree, stops at the lookouts and at Cape Tribulation Beach. Drop off at the Ferntree Rainforest lodge for your night in the rainforest. Includes a welcome drink on arrival plus lunch and dinner.
Day 2
Breakfast is included before a pick up from the lodge at around 8am for your fast speed Ocean Safari to the Great Barrier Reef. 30 minutes to the reef. 2.5 hours exploring the reef by snorkelling. Return back to your hotel by lunch time. (lunch at own expense). Pick up from Ferntree Lodge after lunch and then return to Cairns or Port Douglas via Mossman Gorge where there is time for a walk and a quick swim to refresh you.

Important Notice : Avoiding Fraud

Ask them for contact details for guests who have previously stayed on their property insisting on telephone numbers. Be suspicious of emails that originate from free email services (yahoo, hotmail, gmail, etc)
- Research the property thoroughly on the internet to see if there is any history or mention of scams associated with the property.
