1 Day All-inclusive "Sunlover" Cairns Great Barrier Reef Pontoon Experience - "Seawalker", Scuba diving, helicopter rides also optional
Itinerary
Day 1
This Cairns Reef Cruise departs daily with a luxury cruise to Moore Reef, which offers the ultimate Great Barrier Reef experience for people of all ages. You will get approximately four hours to explore the outer reef from a purpose built pontoon, so you will have plenty of time to be amazed and inspired by the unsurpassed beauty and splendour of this underwater playground. From this pontoon, you can enjoy an array of reef viewing activities, all included in your price which are glass bottom boat rides, semi submarine coral viewing tours, under water observatory and snorkelling. Your hot and cold buffet lunch can be enjoyed on the 360 degree ocean view floating pontoon because there are tables and chairs under shade specially set up for that. There's even a marine life touch tank and fish feeding display to complete your expereince. You'll travel in luxury onboard a modern air-conditioned catamaran, which departs daily from the Reef Fleet Terminal in the very heart of Cairns.
There are also some options that cost a little more and should be pre booked to enhance your day at the reef including scuba diving, Sea-walker helmet diving, and guided snorkel tours with a marine naturalist. Scenic helicopter flights are also a popular option for seeing the reef from a birds eye view. Helicopter options range from 10 minute scenic flights departing from the outer reef itself, or you can exchange one way or both ways on the cruise from Cairns to the reef and vice versa, for a helicopter flight that will leave you in awe of how beautiful the reef is, and talking about it for years to come!
