It's time to hit the links! The Vietnam Golf & Country Club has long been considered one of the country's top courses and was conceived by Cheng King Shih, a renowned Taiwanese designer. The 6,200 meter east course was designed by another legendary golf celebrity, Lee Trevino, a former top golfer from the USPGA. After a day of intense competition, you'll return to your hotel to spend the remainder of the day as you please.
Overnight at Grand Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City. | | Day 3 - Ho Chi Minh City - Dalat (B)
This morning, transfer to the airport for a short flight to Dalat. Dalat is reminiscent of an alpine town with its French chalets, pine forests, and wide variety of flowers and vegetables that are traditionally found in Europe. After checking in at your hotel, you can spend the afternoon visiting places like the Love Valley, Xuan Huong Lake, a Chinese pagoda, the Flower Garden, the Hoa Binh Market and the Prenn Waterfall. It is advised not to exert too much energy though, as another amazing day of golf lies ahead.
Overnight at Novotel in Dalat. | | Day 4 - Dalat - Golfing (B)
Today is the day for a round of golf at the historic Dalat Palace Golf Club, built in 1922 and expanded and restored in 1994 (it was ranked the #1 golf course in Vietnam several years ago by Golf Digest). You will also be able to witness some of Vietnam's natural beauty as the course was gently crafted into the rolling hills of Dalat and overlooks the majestic Xuan Huong Lake. Once the clubs are away, you are free to rest and explore Dalat.
Overnight at Novotel in Dalat. | | Day 5 - Dalat - Phan Thiet (B)
In the morning, you will be transported by car to Phan Thiet, a small harbor town that thrives on fishing and is renowned for the production of fish sauce. The city is also a popular tourist spot and home to luxury beach resorts and an international class golf course (which you'll visit tomorrow). Upon your arrival in Phan Thiet, you'll transfer directly to your hotel to prepare for another exciting and competitive day.
Overnight at Novotel in Phan Thiet. | | Day 6 - Phan Thiet - Golfing (B)
Designed by Nick Faldo, the 6,749-yard, par-72 course at Ocean Dunes Golf Club winds through seaside dunes, with the coastal breezes shaping its character from day-to-day. Both experienced players and those with higher golfing handicaps will appreciate the challenges and opportunities that this course has to offer. After another exhilarating day of competition, you'll return to your hotel to spend the remainder hours at your leisure.
Overnight at Novotel in Phan Thiet. | | Day 7 - Phan ThietT - Dong Nai - Ho Chi Minh City (B)
As you return to Ho Chi Minh City by road, you'll stop for one last round of golf in Vietnam - this time at the Bochang Golf Resort in Dong Nai. The resort features three well-designed and immaculately maintained 9-hole courses that are embraced by picturesque trees and exotic flowers from a tropical forest and dominated by the spectacular Cloudy River Lake which comes into play on 12 of the 27 holes. Whatever score you shoot, you will arrive back at Ho Chi Minh City feeling refreshed.
Overnight at Grand Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City. | | Day 8 - Depart Ho Chi Minh City (B)
You won't have time for more golfing on the day of your departure from Ho Chi Minh, but you will have some time to explore this fascinating city if you so choose.
