Day 1

ARRIVE LHASA
Fly Lhasa from Kathmandu (Nepal), Beijing or Chengdu (China). Upon arrival meet our Tibet representative & transfer to Hotel.

Day 2

LHASA SIGHTSEEING
Guided sightseeing tour of Potala Palace, Drepung monastery and Nechung Monastery. Hotel

Day 3

LHASA SIGHTSEEING
Guided sightseeing tour of Jokhang Temple, Barkhor Market, Tibetan Medical Center and Norbulinka Palace. Hotel

Day 4

LHASA-GYANGTSE
Drive from Lhasa via Yamdrok Tso (the Turquoise Lake) to Gyangtse across Kampa la pass and Karo la pass. Visit Kubum stupa and Pelkor Chode Monastery. Hotel

Day 5

GYANTSE-SHALU-SHIGATSE
Drive Gyantse to Shigatse. En route visit Shalu Monastery. Visit Tashilhunpo Monastery and Shigatse Market. Hotel

Day 6

SHIGATSE-SAKYA-SHEGAR
Drive to Shegar across Tsoula pass and Gyatso la pass. En route visit Sakya Monastery. Hotel

Day 7

SHEGAR-ZHANGMU
Drive to Zhangmu. En route visit Milarepa Cave. Hotel/Guest House

Day 8

ZANGMU-KATHMANDU
Walk across Friendship Bridge meet Nepal guide and drive overland Kathmandu.

Ask them for contact details for guests who have previously stayed on their property insisting on telephone numbers. Be suspicious of emails that originate from free email services (yahoo, hotmail, gmail, etc)
  • Research the property thoroughly on the internet to see if there is any history or mention of scams associated with the property.
