Day 1

Doi Suthep is the most famous of Chiang Mai's temples and its most prominent sitting at 1685 meters high above the city. If you come to Chiang Mai but don't go to Doi Suthep then you haven't yet been to Chiang Mai as the locals say. This tour will take you up the winding road towards the base of the temple, here you will have the choice of tackling the 306 steps to the temple or there is a funicular railway for those who are less steady on their feet. The views from the temple are spectacular with the whole of Chiang Mai laid out before you.This tour will also include a visit to a Meo hill tribe settlement which is also situated on the mountain.
