Itinerary

Day 1

Day 01: Kathmandu - Nyalam
Early morning drive from Kathmandu to Nepal/Tibet border at Kodari. After customs formalities drive to Zangmu for entry into Tibet/China. Continue to Nyalam. Guest House (b/b).

Day 2

Day 02:Nyalam - Tingri
Drive to Tingri or Xegar crossing two passes Nyalam and Lalung La. Guest House (b/b).

Day 3

Day 03: Tingri - Shigatse
Drive from Tingri to Shigatse crossing two passes Lhakpa La and Tsuo La. Hotel (b/b).

Day 4

Day 04: Shigatse-Gyantse
AM: Sightseeing tour of Tashilungpo Montastery and Shigatse Market.
Afternoon drive to Gyantse. Visit Phalkor Monastery Kumbum Stupa and Gyantse Market. Hotel (b/b).

Day 5

Day 05: Gyantse-Lhasa
Drive Gyantse to Lhasa crossing two passes Karo La and Kamba La via Yamdrok Tso Lake (Turquoise Lake). Hotel (b/b).

Day 6

Day 06: Lhasa Sightseeing

Sightseeing tours of Potala & Norbulingka Palaces, Jokhang Temple and Barkhor Market. Hotel (b/b).

Day 7

Day 07: Lhasa Sightseeing
Sightseeing tours of Sera & Drepung Monasteries. Hotel (b/b).

Day 8

Day 08: Depart Lhasa

Drive to Gonggar airport and fly to Kathmandu, Chengdu or Beijing.
End of Tibet Tour.
