Itinerary
Day 1
Pick up from city hotel/lodge around 1400 hrs and proceed by land towards Kota Klias in the district of Beaufort. Observe the picturesque landscape of paddy fields, coastal roads and villages along the way.
Arrive Klias river bank around 1 1/2 hour later and being welcome and served with coffee & tea and some local Malay cakes and cookies
After the short rest, proceed with the river cruise while observing the riverine forest for Proboscis monkeys, other primates, crocodile, monitor lizards and various types of birds among others.
As sunset approaches, ride back to the riverbank for a local Malay dishes dinner before proceeding for a second cruise amidst glittering display of lights sparked by the fireflies on the swampy forest trees.
