Itinerary

Day 1

Depart Kota Kinabalu around 7:30 am for a 1 1/2 hours drive towards Kinabalu National Park. Climber than register at the Park Headquarters before being transfer to Timpohon Gate where the Summit Trail starts. From there, for an approximate 4 to 5 hours (depending on your fitness level) the climb will take you to various trail shelter before reaching Laban Rata. Climbers will rest and get a night sleep at the rest house (doemitory) before continuing the next morning

Day 2

After the night rest, final climb normally start at 2:30am for another 2 to 3 hours. There are ladders, hand railing and ropes to help as the climb gets steeper. Low's peak at 4,095.2 m will be your final destination. It is here where you will experience an unforgettable view of the sun rise where you can almost see Sabah spread out below. Once you have enough rest and are satisfied, you will begin descending and a short stopover at Laban Rata for breakfast before proceeding downwards back to Timpohon Gate. After a short rest, transfer back to Kota Kinabalu.
