Why not escape the noise of the big city and watch the new season come whilst having fun while hiking? Guided by an english-speaking naturalist, go on a tour up the attractive Mt Takao. While looking at the flowers and trees, slowly walk to the summit of the mountain (altitude of 599m). If it's sunny, you may also see Mt Fuji!

Mt. Takao serves as a religious center with Yakuo-in Temple, and at the same time it is one of the most popular natural parks in the metropolitan area, drawing visitors who enjoy its floristic richness.
Plant species characteristic of both warm temperate forests and cool temperate forests grow on its slopes.
I hope you will fully enjoy walking in the woods in Tokyo and interacting with our native plants in their natural environment. |
