| Day 1 - Day 1: Arrive in Delhi
Arrive in Delhi late night/early morning. Meet with us at the airport and transfer to hotel. Overnight in the hotel.
| | Day 2 - Day 2: Explore Delhi
After breakfast, take a city tour of Old and New Delhi. Visit Red Fort and its palaces, Jama Masjid – the largest mosque in India, Raj Ghat - place of Mahatma Gandhi cremation, Jantar Mantar – the observatory. Drive through India Gate – the royal road, Rashtrapati Bhawan – The President House and relax your mind at the peaceful Lotus Temple – the Bahai Mandir. Overnight in the hotel. | | Day 3 - Day 3: Delhi-Agra journey (200 km approximately, by road)
After an early breakfast, leave for Agra - THE TAJ CITY and check in the hotel. Visit the ‘Taj Mahal’. It took 20,000 workers from the Central Asia and Europe for 22 years to construct this poem of love. Built by the emperor, Shah Jahan, in the memory of his beloved wife Mumtaj Mahal - the same Taj, today stands proudly as one of the wonders of the world. Overnight in the hotel. | | Day 4 - Day 4: Agra-Jaipur journey (240 km approximately, by road)
After breakfast, drive to Jaipur. On the way visit Fatehpur Sikri, the beautiful and deserted medieval city built in sandstone by Akbar the Great in the 16th century to serve as the capital of his vast empire. It was mysteriously abandoned 13 years later.
Reach Jaipur (the pink city) and check into the hotel. Jaipur was built in the 18th century by Maharaja Jai Singh II. It is a planned city built with ancient Hindu rules as the colonial capital of a rich colorful state. Later half of the day at leisure - shopping in the twinkling multi-storied bazaars (markets) of the pink city. (Souvenirs, jewelry, sandal and red wood, paintings). Overnight in the hotel. | | Day 5 - Day 5: Explore Jaipur
After Breakfast, take a city tour of Jaipur. Visit grand Amber Fort, which encloses superb palaces and a beautiful temple in marble dedicated to the fearsome goddess Kali. See the landmark Hawa Mahal. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure and have fun & dinner at Chowki Dhani (traditional Rajasthani village park). Overnight in the hotel. | | Day 6 - Day 6: Jaipur-Delhi journey (260 km approximately, by road)
After breakfast, drive to Delhi and check into the hotel. Second half of the day for shopping in Delhi, visit Janpath (the Queen’s Road), rest of the time at leisure or visit famous Sikh temple (Gurudwara Bangla Sahib) in the center of Delhi. Late night/early morning transfer to Airport and depart for home with beautiful memories of India. |
