Day 1

ARRIVAL IN MANALI,ACCLIMATISATION & TREKKING
Arrival at the Solang Valley Camp Retreat, 13 kms uphill drive from The Manali Mall & check into your deluxe tents. After freshening up & a sumptuous breakfast gear up for a trekking expedition to The Anjani Mahadev Natural Shivling – 4 hours.This trek takes you past the Solang meadow into a wide expanse alongside river Beas to the most ethereal & mystical of all experiences. The Shvling here is made naturally by snow ( in winter months) & in summers has a grand waterfall falling over it thus making the parikrama as holy & sublime as possible. Return for lunch at the campsite. Time at leisure to explore the picturesque island below the camp & laze around on the hammocks for a while. Evening bonfire & games & dinner at the camp retreat.

Day 2

ROCK CLIMBING , RAPPELLING, RIVER CROSSING & TREK TO THE WATERFALL
Post breakfast indulge in sporty activities like rock climbing, river crossing & rappelling with your trained instructors. Post lunch after a little relaxation off to the lovely trek to the Solang Waterfall. We cross the river 3 times, followed by a steep climb to the Picturesque Solang Village. From here on it’s a steep climb with lovely views of the valley some 11,000 feet below to the hidden Solang Waterfall.The adventurous one can take a bath at the natural plunge pool of the water bed. Dinner , bonfire & games at the Solang Valley Camp Retreat.

Day 3

Solang Valley / Manali - Chandratal Lake :
Post breakfst drive past Rohtang pass enjoying the magnificient views of the changing mountain landscape to arrive at Batal.From Batal you can have a beautiful view of the CB ranges and a few glaciers. From here a track goes to the beautiful lake of Chandratal 14 Kms away. Chandratal Lake , also known as ‘Moon Lake’ is one of the most beautiful & spectacular lakes in the Indian subcontinent. Set on a large meadow between lower ridge and main Kunzum range , it offers excellent view of Mulkila mountain range and Samudra Tapu Glacier. The color of water keeps changing through out the day from reddish to orange to blue to emerald green as day passes. What do you say about a place that can take away 6 hours of fatiguing drive and dust in an instant? About a haloed patch of mystifying water body that exudes the stillness of the deepest shades of sapphire blending with the exuberance of jade green right in the middle of thousands of miles of parched brown and foreboding gray landscape? A place that transfixes you with its first sight and continues to haunt you long after, sending your adrenalin rushing for a yet second look? Breathtaking, awe-inspiring, beautiful, fabulous, overwhelming… all sound too prosaic. Maybe ‘chandratal-ed’ would be an apt expression about what one feels at the very first glance of Chandratal and rightly so.Day at leisure to explore the picture perfect environs of the Chandratal Lake Camp Retreat.Dinner & overnight at the Chandratal Lake Camp Retreat.

Day 4

Chandratal Lake Camp Retreat - Solang Valley Camp Retreat:
Depart post breakfast from Chandratal to Manali. On arrival check in at at the Solang Valley Camp Retreat.Bonfire, dinner & overnight in Manali.

Day 5

Solang Valley Camp Retreat / Prashar Lake Camp Retreat :Depart Manali by 0800 hrs post breakfast & drive along the tranquil Beas river to reach Mandi. From here on the rest of the 40 kms drive is uphill escalating finally to approx 10,000 feet through winding roads, villages, temples, lush flora & through deep jungles.Lunch is enroute. Arrive Prashar Lake Camp Retreat by early afternoon. Camp is at a picturebook meadow reflecting across a magnificient view of the panoramic mountain folds amidst the backdrop of nothing but tree lines & lush green meadows.The Prashar Lake Camp Retreat at almost 10,000 feet is located 40 kms from Mandi in Himachal Pradesh& caters to the discerning traveller towards this region with 25 comfortable trekking tents in a picturebook meadow near the holy lake. It comprises of hygenic toilet & bathroom tents with hot water & a fully equipped ktchen tent which serves authentic Indian, Chinese & Continental delicacies. Take a downhill walk to the lakeside.Evening bonfire & diner at the Prashar Lake camp retreat.

Day 6

Depart Prashar lake : Post breakfast another visit to the to take the parikrama of the lake & visit to the temple. Commence for Kullu with packed lunch. Enroute stop by at the river beach for a lunch break & visit the Angora wool kullu shawl factory outlets.Later afternoon board the bus for Delhi from Kullu.
