| Day 1 - Morning tour of Delhi visiting Raj Ghat and Shanti Vana - the cremation sites of Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru, Jama Masjid and drive past Chandni Chowk. Afternoon visit Qutub Minar built by Qutub-ud-Din Aibek in 1199, Humayun's Tomb, India Gate (War Memorial Arch ), Lakshminarayan Temple - a modern Hindu Temple. Also drive, Parliament House, Government Secretariat Buildings and Connaught Place shopping centre. Overnight stay in Delhi hotel | | Day 2 - This morning, you will be transferred by road to the Mughal city of Agra (206 kms / 3.5 hrs) The spectacular Taj Mahal, built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. Overnight at Agra Hotel | | Day 3 - this morning you visit the Agra Fort, built by the great Emperor Akbar. Afternoon visit to Local Market. Overnight at Agra Hotel | | Day 4 - Early this morning, you will be transferred by road to the pink city of Jaipur (221 kms / 5 hrs), enroute you will visit Fatehpur Sikri, the deserted red sandstone city built by the Mughal Emperor Akbar. Proceed to your hotel with the rest of the day at leisure OR take an optional tour of the ethnic Rajasthani village of Chokhi Dhani. Overnight at Jaipur hotel. An Optional visit to Samode Palace. (Near By Jaipur) | | Day 5 - This morning, visit the Amber fort, built in the 16th century, enjoy an elephant ride at Amber. Drive past the Hawa Mahal, and visit the City Palace and museum, walk to the adjacent Jantar Mantar Observatory. Today we will proceed to Dinner with Indian Family. Overnight at Jaipur Hotel | | Day 6 - Transfer to airport / railway station OR transfer by road to Delhi (256 kms / 5 hrs). Upon arrival in Delhi, proceed to Airport to reach our next destination. |
