Itinerary
Day 1
Arrive Beijing International Airport
Our tour guide will meet you at the airport luggage lobby before you pass he custom, you will then be transferred to Beijing Dynasty Hotel. On the way, our tour guide will give you a briefing on the history, geography, and culture of Beijing. Rest in your room for the rest of the day. Lunch and/or dinner on your own.
Accommodated at Beijing Crown Plaza Hotel.
Day 2
Beijing (B, L, D)
Today your first stop is the impressive Tiananmen Square, the largest public square in the world. Later you will visit the Palace Museum, known as the Forbidden City. Then you will take an afternoon excursion to the Great Wall, one of the worlds great wonders. Tonight, you are invited to a welcome banquet.
Day 3
Beijing-Xining (B, L, D)
You will take a morning flight to Xining. Upon arrival, be met and transferred to your hotel. After a short rest, you will tour Kimblum Lamasery (Taer Temple). The monastery is considered one of the finest merges of Han and Tibetan architectural styles. The famous butter sculptures,the barbolas (embossed embroidery) and the mural frescoes are truly unique. Then you will visit Xiguan Moslem Temple and provincial Museum. The archeologist of the museum will give you an introduction and be with your throughout the visit to answer your questions. Welcome Dinner & local cultural show at night. Accommodated at Yinlong Hotel.
Day 4
Xining-Lhasa (B, L, D)
Buffet Breakfast at the hotel. Excursion tour to Liuwan Ceramics unearthed site and the museum, followed by a visit to Qutan Temple. In the afternoon, you will pay a visit to a Tu Ethnic Autonomy County to meet and chat with local families. The Tu speak a unique language and their traditional clothes feature distinctive embroidery and high collars. You will also watch their religion performance and enjoy their singing and dancing performance. Tonight you will take the overnight soft-sleeper train to Lhasa.
Day 5
Lhasa (D)
You will travel across miles and miles of Northern Tibet Grass, through the Kekexili Nature Preserve-home to just 16 mammal species and 30 bird species. All are acclimated to the dry, cold, high-altitude climate. Here, roams snow leopards, yaks, Tibet antelope, and wild donkeys, golden eagles soar above. The train will carry you over the Tanggula Pass-along the worlds highest passenger railway tracks (elevation - 16,649 ft.) Arrive Lhasa in the afternoon. Arrive in Lhasa tonight. Meet and transfer to the Lhasa Hotel.
Day 6
Lhasa (B, L, D)
After breakfast at hotel, you will visit Potala Palace, the legendary palace that is globally synonymous with Tibet. This 13-storied citadel with its 1,000 rooms served as the headquarters of the ¡°religious-state¡± of Tibet and was home to successive Dalai Lamas. After lunch, you will visit the Drepung Monastery and Norbuglinkha, the Summer Palace for Dalai Lhama). Tonight you will have a Tibetan flavored dinner at a local Tibetan restaurant while enjoy Tibet Culture Dance Show.
Day 7
Lhasa (B, L, D)
Buffet Breakfast at the hotel. Today you will visit the Jokhang (Dazao Monastery and Sera Monastery. Encircling the Jokhang Temple, Barkor Square (and its radiate streets) is the center of the old town -much as it was centuries ago, where you may get a feel of local life, negotiate for handicrafts and walk through history.
Day 8
Lhasa (B, L, D)
Buffet Breakfast at the hotel. You will visit a Tibet Hospital and a Tibetan School in the morning. In the afternoon, you will visit a local community and family house, chat with local Tibetans.
Day 9
Lhasa-Chengdu (B, L, D)
Today you will take a morning flight to Chengdu. Be transferred to the Sheraton Hotel. In the afternoon, you will take an excursion to the ancient Dujiangyan Irrigation System, which is unique and a scientific marvel. Enjoy famous local Sichuan cuisine. Accommodated at Sheraton Hotel.
Day 10
Chengdu (B, L, D)
In the morning, you will visit Sanxingdui Museum. The site of Sanxingdui, located in the city of Guanghan, 40 km from Chengdu, is recognized as one of the most important ancient remains in the world for its vast size, lengthy period and enriched cultural contents. In the afternoon, you will visit Panda Giant Panda Bleeding Research Center. There is no doubt this will be yet another highlight of your tour because your will see Pandas! Seeing Panda is exiting, but you shouldnt miss the local Tea House while in Chengdu. You will also visit Pavilion of River View Garden.
Day 11
Chengdu-Shanghai (B, L, D)
Say goodbye to Panda and fly to the cosmopolitan city-Shanghai. You will stroll along the fabled Bund, an elegant riverfront promenade; and tour Yu Yuan Garden, the old area of the city. Accommodated at Shanghai Huating Hotel & Towers.
Day 12
Shanghai (B, L)
This mornings sightseeing includes a visit to People Square & Shanghai Museum-one of the largest in China. The museum houses a collection of 120,000 pieces of cultural relics. Afternoon is free at leisure. You may choose to rest in your room or explore the city on your own. Dinner on your own.
Day 13
Shanghai / USA (B)
Say Zai Jian (goodbye) to China and be assisted to the airport for your flight home.

Ask them for contact details for guests who have previously stayed on their property insisting on telephone numbers. Be suspicious of emails that originate from free email services (yahoo, hotmail, gmail, etc)
- Research the property thoroughly on the internet to see if there is any history or mention of scams associated with the property.
