Itinerary

Day 1

Private airport pick up, then drive via scenic valleys to Longji (2.5 hours). From the parking place it is a short walk (30 minutes) up to Pingan village. Ladies are ready to help with your baggage if you need.
Pingan is the place where you can see and walk around the rice terraces. Visit a mix of minorities , mostly Zhuang and Yao . We take an easy walk around the Zhuang village and up to the viewing points.
Overnight stay at LiQing Guesthouse

Day 2

A simple breakfast at your guesthouse. Enjoy the rice terraces with different lighting before we head off to Guilin .
We give you enough information for you to explore Guilin by yourself. You can walk along the river bank, visit the Elephant Trunk Hill or perhaps do some shopping.
Overnight stay at *** star hotel.

Day 3

Breakfast in your hotel. Meet your guide in the hotel lobby at 08:00. Please have all your luggage. Transfer to the dock for your Li River Cruise. Say farewell to your Guilin guide.
The cruise takes approx 4 hours to reach Yangshuo town. There is a simple Chinese lunch on the boat.
Your Yangshuo guide will meet you at Yangshuo dock and walk you to your hotel through the famous West Street. Check in. Free afternoon for you to walk around Yangshuo town. Time for food and drink at one of the many cafes before an evening visit the impressive light show directed by Zhang Yimou.Overnight stay at Snow Lion Resort or Paradise Resort

Day 4

Today we have an easy 17km cycle ride through the countryside , past rice paddies and unspoilt villages. Ensure that you have a substantial breakfast.
Enjoy the beautiful scenery and feel the local life along the way to Liugong where we will have a farm lunch on the bank of Li River.
After lunch we take a private local boat back to Yangshuo with our bicycles. Relax and take photos of fishermen, water buffaloes and perhaps even ladies doing their laundry. About 5 hours for the whole trip.
Overnight stay at Snow Lion Resort or Paradise Resort

Day 5

After breakfast we take a private car to Yulong River for your bamboo raft cruise (approx 2 hours) . Sit back and relax for a while. Disembark at Mountain Retreat for a drink or snacks (your own cost).
Get back into our car and continue to Silver Cave , where you can see fantastic rock formations – all brightly lit and wonderfully named.
Return to Yangshuo and fresh up . Your last chance for shopping before the end of this trip.
Private transfer back to airport for your flight. Tour ends.

This tour represents what we consider to be good use of your time. It can easily be tailored to suit your own requirements.
The rice terraces are at there most spectacular in the spring when the paddies are full of water and glisten like a cascade of mirrors down the mountainside.
Summer is hot and humid.
September and October are good travel months. Avoid the Natuional holiday week from 1 October.
You will need a single entry 30-day visa (minimum) to enter China. This can be obtained at your local consulate or easily in Hong Kong id you are transitting there.
