ITINERARY
Day 1 - Day 1: Xiangshui Lake Great Wall- Jiankou Great Wall We would start from xiangshui lake Great Wall and end of the wild Great Wall-jiankou Great Wall. It is located 40 minutes drive from Huairou city centre, Xiangshuihu offers two beautiful, solitary stretches of untouched wall, as well as a restored section. Upon entering the village, don't walk ahead to the main gate. Instead, turn right or left - both directions will lead further into the village where original sections of the wall await. A walk in the Xiangshuihu countryside can be just as invigorating and a chance to enjoy beautiful vistas of the wall. Hiking distance: 10 KM Hiking time + lunch break: 5 hours
Day 2 - Day 2: Jiankou Great wall-Jiuyanlou Great Wall If you look carefully at the recent published Great Wall photographic works, you will quickly find that most of the pictures are taken from Jian Kou Great Wall. Due to its unique style, steep mountains and beautiful scenery, Jiankou Great Wall has become a photographic hotspot and also a hot travel destination these days. 'Jiankou', is translated as 'Arrow Nock' in English, because the shape of the mountain is like an arrow, with the collapsed ridge opening as its arrow nock. Hiking distance: 6.5 KM Hiking + lunch break: 4 hours
Day 3 - Day 3: Jiankou Great Wall- Mutianyu Great Wall Mutianyu Great Wall is Located in Huairou County about 45 miles from Beijing, Mutianyu Great Wall enjoys a long history and is part of the glorious culture of China. The wall was first built in Northern Qi Dynasty (550 - 557). In Ming Dynasty (1368 - 1644), Tan Lun and Qi Jiguang, two famous patriotic generals, rebuilt it in order to strengthen its defensive potential when they guarded the strategic pass. It served as the northern protective screen, guarding the capital and imperial mausoleums for generations Hiking distance: 8.0 KM Hiking time + lunch break: 4 hours
