Beijing Simatai Great Wall One Day Tour

Simatai is one of the most beautiful sections of the Great Wall. Today's hiking enables you to encounter as many as 150 watchtowers, battlements, terraces and turrets of the wall.

Itinerary

Day 1

Our tour guide will pick you up at your hotel in the early morning and join the group for the site around 10 o'clock. Hiking for 3 to 4 hours. Have lunch at a local restaurant. After the late lunch, get back to the hotel downtown. The Simatai Great Wall, 110 kilometres northeast of Beijing, has 135 watchtowers. The 19-kilometre wall is dangerous to climb but splendid to view as it meanders up and down the mountain ridges that seem to have been sliced on both sides by a huge axe. Transferred back to your hotel.
