| Day 1 - Fly to Paro and drive to Thimpu (65 Kms./2 hrs.)
Drive to Thimpu. Overnight at Hotel.
| | Day 2 - Full day sightseeing in Thimpu
Am-visit the memorial Chortern of the Late King Jigme Dorje Wangchuk in the heart of Thimpu. The Tashichhodzong, The "Fortress of the Auspicious Religion." PM- Stroll downtown to the Handicraft Development Corporation which displays a variety of Bhutanese handicrafts. Overnight at Hotel.
| | Day 3 - Thimpu- Paro (65 Kms./ 2 hrs.)
AM- After breakfast drive leisurely to Paro. PM- Drive through the Paro Valley to see the Drukgyel Dzong/ Kyichu Lhakhang. On a clear day one can see the white domed majestic Jhomolhari Mountain (The Mountain of the Goddess) (7314 m.) Also visit the National Museum located in the Ta Dzong Which displays a rich collection of fine arts and weapons. Overnight at hotel.
| | Day 4 - Paro: Excursion to Taktsang Lhakang.
AM- After breakfast drive to Sartsham Chorten and then two hours of horse riding to the Taktsang cafeteria. After refreshment, a short trek to view the famous Taktsang Lhakhang (the "tigers nest"). PM- After lunch a slow downhil trek to Sartsham Chorten, then drive to hotel. Overnight at hotel.
