Itinerary

Day 1

Kampala : Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park (9 : 10 hrs drive)
Early at 7:00am you will be picked up from your accommodation by your safari guide and set off for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park : Home of the Endangered and threatened mountain Gorillas, a 9 : 10 hrs drive. Proceed to Mbarara for lunch and a leg stretch then continue your journey to Kabale passing through the ever green rolling hills known of Kisoro known as the “Little Switzerland” of Uganda. Arrive late afternoon / evening and check in at Buhoma Community Bandas / Bwindi View Guest House / Heritage Guest House - Budget OR Buhoma Homestead / Traveler Rest Hotel / Lake Kitandara Guest House : Medium OR Gorilla Forest Camp / Gorilla Resort : Top Luxury accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Day 2

Bwindi Gorilla Trekking
After early breakfast, with our packed Lunch, we go for briefing at 08:00 am, and then we start of the gorilla search. Hikers will love it with the gorilla tracking is unpredictable, it is difficult to foresee how many hours you will hike, The gorilla tracking may take 2 : 8 hours, expect to walk long distance in steep and muddy conditions, sometimes with rain overhead, before you encounter any gorillas. For conservation purposes, time spent with the gorillas is limited to one hour. The ranger guide always briefs you on how to behave with these apes, later Dinner and overnight at Buhoma Community Bandas / Bwindi View Guest House / Heritage Guest House - Budget OR Buhoma Homestead / Traveler Rest Hotel / Lake Kitandara Guest House : Medium OR Gorilla Forest Camp / Gorilla Resort : Top Luxury accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Day 3

Bwindi : Kampala
After an early morning breakfast, we check out and transfer to Kampala, with lunch enroute and a stop at the Equator crafts village for some crafts shopping and photo shorts. Arrive later afternoon / evening to be dropped at your overnight accommodation in Kampala.
